If you’re a conservative, it’s pretty difficult turning on the television or going on social media without being treated like you have horns growing out of your head. Basically, all the popular television shows make it clear that they don’t want conservatives watching and the vast majority of celebrities in Hollywood have no problem bashing anyone who doesn’t vote Democrat.
It’s unfortunate. Hollywood is really missing out on an opportunity to bring people together. Politics shouldn’t divide us the way it does today. But, there’s no end in sight.
Well, there is some good news to report.
The first full trailer for Roseanne was released and it’s very clear that this show was made with the deplorables in mind.
That just screams Middle America, doesn’t it? Definitely not a safe space.
Roseanne has gone on the record promising this show won’t be your typical anti-Trump propaganda.
From Fox News:
Roseanne Barr defended her support for President Trump and her choice to make her sitcom character a Trump supporter in the upcoming “Roseanne” revival heading to ABC in March.
Barr said making her sitcom counterpart a Trump supporter made sense for the show about a working-class American family.
“It’s just realistic,” she explained.
She went on, “I have always … attempted to portray a realistic portrait of the American people and working class people. And, in fact, it was working class people that elected Trump so I felt that was very real and something that needed to be discussed.”
People forget that Roseanne was an insanely popular show and a big reason for that is how real it was. It didn’t alienate conservatives in working-class America. It welcomed them. Not just conservatives, either. It welcomed anyone who works hard and puts their family first.
This is the kind of show Trump voters have been waiting for. No liberal BS. No virtue signaling. No transgender pandering. No safe spaces. Just good television made for everyone.
