On paper, Americans should want to like Montel Williams. He was a popular TV host, a veteran, and a likable guy. You’d think that Montel would be one of the more popular celebrities out there.
There’s just one problem.
Montel made the mistake a lot of celebrities made and decided to inject his own personal politics into everything he does. Not only that, he’s become one of the most outspoken virtue signalers on the left and it’s rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
It’s one thing to be a Democrat. It’s another to be sexist.
On Sunday, Montel chose to be the latter…
The NRA posted this message.
“To every lying member of the media, to every Hollywood phony, to the role model athletes who use their free speech to alter and undermine what our flag represents…Your Time is running out. The clock starts now."–@DLoesch #Oscars90 pic.twitter.com/SDVjeTxyfB

Anddd Montel posted this…
Imagine if a conservative celebrity had said this. The outrage would be deafening.
But, he’s attacking a conservative so no one cares.
Luckily, some intelligent Twitter users put Montel in his place immediately and served him a nice little wakeup call.
You’ll have a hard time finding a conservative who doesn’t respect military service. However, serving in the military doesn’t make you an expert on gun control.
Dana Loesch is tough and conservatives don’t need to blame their problems on sexism. Dana probably won’t even flinch at something like this. She’s used to it. However, it’s important to always point out the hypocrisy of the left.
Democrats love to pretend to have the moral high ground in political debates but the reality is they don’t. The second they run out of ideas they resort to personal attacks. Montel doesn’t actually have an argument against the NRA. He doesn’t know how to stop school shootings. He’s looking for Twitter follows. That’s pretty clear here.
