Stacey Dash has become a popular figure in conservative circles and it isn’t hard to see why. On Fox News and in her political essays she’s established herself as a rock-solid conservative.
That’s why conservatives were excited to hear that Stacey is running for Congress.
From Fox News:
Stacey Dash, the actress turned conservative political commentator, has filed paperwork to run for a congressional seat in Southern California.
Documents submitted Monday to the Federal Election Commission show the “Clueless” star intends to run as a Republican in California’s 44th District, a seat held by Democrat Nanette Barragan.
Registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by a wide margin in the Los Angeles-area district that contains the areas of Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach.
Now, Stacey is making more news related to her run for Congress.
Her new campaign website has been launched.
Here’s an excerpt from the site.
I want you to be the first to know that I am running for Congress and am calling upon my fans and supporters to assist me on this journey.
It won’t be an easy road and I will need all the good wishes, support and assistance you can give me. Please join me in making real change and a positive mark upon this country and all the people of the 44th Congressional District.
This is about strength in numbers…together we can speak loud and clear…and together we will deliver.
California is a tough place for conservatives to run but if anyone can get it done it’s Stacey.
Be sure and head to her site and show her some support.
