Former Navy SEAL Gives Best Argument Ever for the AR-15 (Video)

Nikolas Cruz, the Marjory Stonemen Douglas High School madman who gunned down 17 innocent Americans, used an AR-15 during the attack.

A former U.S. Navy SEAL gives the best defense anyone will ever hear in favor of the AR-15.

The left won’t like this one bit!

From Gateway Pundit:

Amid a concerted effort by the mainstream media, Democrats and left-leaning groups to pressure Congress into passing gun control measures, a 2016 video of former Navy SEAL Dom Raso explaining why AR-15s are “the best chance of surviving in an age of terror,” is making the internet rounds.

“This firearm gives average people the advantage they so desperately need and deserve to protect their life, liberty, and happiness.”

The Federalist has more:

“The only way for us to stay free was by having whatever guns the bad guys have,” he said. “This firearm gives average people the advantage they so desperately need and deserve to protect their life, liberty, and happiness.”

Choosing to defend one’s home with an AR-15 is a commonsense choice, as it is powerful, accurate, and easy to shoot, Raso said.

Gun control legislation doesn’t stop terror attacks, he explained, citing the two terrorists who weren’t deterred by California’s assault weapons ban when they killed 14 people in San Bernardino last year. Nor would any gun ban have stopped the Boston Bombers when they detonated a bomb at the Boston Marathon, killing three and wounding at least 260 others.

Raso said Hillary Clinton’s desire to ban rifles like the AR-15 is hypocritical since she herself relies on guards armed with them for her protection.

“I fought this enemy face-to-face for 12 years,” he said. “I know how they think, and I know the hatred that burns inside them.”

Raso concluded by saying, “Thank God we have the Second Amendment.”

Axios has more on AR-15s in schools:

The sheriff in Broward County, Florida, where 17 high schoolers were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, has said deputies will be allowed to carry rifles on school grounds, the Associated Press reports.

The backdrop: At a listening session at the White House on Wednesday, President Trump advocated for armed personnel to be in schools as a way to prevent school shootings.

Fox News has more on Nikolas Cruz:

Just one day after the shooting massacre last week at a Florida high school, the woman who cared for the alleged shooter and his brother reportedly filed court papers seeking control of their inheritance, which could total up to $800,000.

Roxanne Deschamps also had Zachary Cruz, the brother of shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz, involuntarily committed to a mental facility shortly after the massacre, the New York Post reported, citing a family source.

Deschamps, a longtime family friend of the Cruz brothers, began looking after them after their adoptive mother, Lynda, died of pneumonia in November.

Her court filings indicate she wants to administer Lynda’s estate, which would make her responsible to distributing the proceeds of her life insurance policy and settling her debts, the Post reported.
