I think there were five or six Democrat responses to the State of the Union address. Y’all remember how the liberal progressive media made fun of the GOP when there were three different responses? I recall how the left went apoplectic over Marco Rubio’s “waterboy” moment, yet didn’t hear too much about Rep. Kennedy’s drool response. But I digress, it appears that the Democrats even had an international response to President Trump’s SOTU address.
As reported by MSN.com, “North Korea struck back at the United States on Wednesday, accusing the Trump administration of being a billionaires’ club that harbors a “policy of racism” while denying freedom of the press and health coverage to citizens.
The “White Paper on Human Rights Violations in the U.S. IN 2017” was issued by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) — North Korea — and circulated by its diplomatic mission in Geneva. “Racial discrimination and misanthropy are serious maladies inherent to the social system of the U.S., and they have been aggravated since Trump took office”, the North Korean paper said. “The racial violence that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12 is a typical example of the acme of the current administration’s policy of racism”, it said. “The total assets of public servants at the level of deputy secretary and above of the current administration are worth $14 billion”, the paper said. North Korea’s paper said genuine freedoms of the press and of expression did not exist in the United States and that crackdowns against the media have intensified in the past year.”
Well, it appears North Korea has been receiving the Democrat talking points. All that’s left is for a group to begin calling itself “North Korean Lives Matter.” How interesting — ok, rather rich — to have the North Koreans talking about human rights and violations. We all heard the story of the former citizen of North Korea who escaped to freedom, sadly, he lost his dad as he attempted to be free. We heard the harrowing story of this man’s siblings eating dirt to survive, sharing what little food they had to ensure his healthy recovery from a leg amputation — done without any medications.
Not too long ago we learned of very rare parasites found in the body of a North Korean soldier who escaped the Stalinist regime. And the North Koreans want to talk about proving health coverage? This was just too funny not to share with y’all. And when you consider, it’s just as laughable as the Democrats and their response and their antics, from Tuesday evening. You expect such over the top rhetoric from the regime of Kim Jung Un, but it’s quite concerning to hear much of the same repeated in our halls of government.
At least in America we have a free press, and they are hardly suppressed. The only people in America having their freedom of expression and religion restricted and are persecuted are Christians. Now, that’s something the North Koreans and the progressive socialist left, along with Islamo-fascists, have in common.
Isn’t very alarming when the messaging and talking points of North Korea seem to mirror those of the progressive socialist left in America? Just think, here’s a country that illegally arrested, charged, convicted, sentenced, tortured, and murdered an American citizen, Otto Warmbier, whose parents we all wept with on Tuesday evening. The arrogance of North Korea to publish this garbage decrying human rights violations is beyond believable…but understandable.
I would tend to believe the youngest Kim has been the beneficiary of the economic rape of his own country by his father and grandfather. And we can be sure President Trump isn’t ordering the assassinations of his own siblings, or other family members, much as the mentally deranged Kim Jung Un did. All this just gives more evidence that when we hear progressive socialist leftists speak of concern about President Trump, and not Kim Jung Un, it’s rather despicable.
Isn’t it very telling to know that the same arguments being made by the Democrat Party here in America are being made by North Korea?
