There are a lot of people out there who are offended that Trump used a crude word when talking about third world countries the other day. It’s a little strange to still act surprised when Trump uses crude language but you can understand that people aren’t thrilled when it happens. However, you have to love watching Democrats and the media elites completely lose their minds over situations like the one we are seeing surrounding Trump’s s***hole comment.
Sen. Cory Booker has established himself as one of the most unreasonable partisans on Capitol Hill and political grandstanding seems to be his favorite past time.
He absolutely lost his mind over Trump’s controversial comment during a hearing with Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary.
Yeah, we shouldn’t be shocked if Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) decided to run for president in 2020. He decided not to ask Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who appeared before the Judiciary Committee today, to excoriate her and express his “tears of rage” over the president’s “s**thole countries” remark. It was a temper tantrum, nothing more.
He also found her remarks that she could not recall the president using that phrase in negotiations with Democrats and Republicans on immigration as unacceptable; Nielsen was in room. In fact, he said she was complicit in nurturing racism.
You have to see the clip to believe it. It’s just outrageous.
From Washington Times:
Sen. Cory Booker found himself compared to actor Tommy Wiseau of “The Room” on Tuesday after raising his voice during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
An angry exchange with Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen became one of the top trending stories on Twitter this week when Mr. Booker recounted “tears of rage” over comments attributed to Mr. Trump.
The New Jersey Democrat scolded Ms. Nielsen for “amnesia” when she testified under oath that she never heard the president refer to “sh—hole” countries during policy negotiations.
“When [Illinois senator] Dick Durbin called me, I had tears of rage when I heard about this experience in that meeting. And for you not to feel that hurt and that pain — and to dismiss some of the questions of my colleagues saying, ‘I already answered that line of questions’ — when tens-of-millions of Americans are hurting right now […] that’s unacceptable to me,” Mr. Booker said.
If someone allegedly using a crude word to describe some of the most impoverished countries in the world makes you cry then you probably shouldn’t be a United States senator. Might be time to look for a different job.
I mean just look at this guy…
Totally unhinged. Can you imagine what would happen if a Republican senator screamed at a woman like that? He would immediately be written off as sexist. It’s totally cool for liberals to yell at women in a demeaning way I guess.
What Booker did wasn’t leadership. It’s childish.
It also shows you how desperate Democrats are. That display was just pure frustration. Nothing more. Trump is winning and they can’t stand it.
