Celebrities never seem to waste a single moment when it comes to jumping on tragic events to push the liberal agenda and appease the progressive elite running pop culture.
The Las Vegas shooting was no different, as many immediately leapt at the opportunity to blame the Second Amendment and, of course, guns for the incident — rather than the fact the man who pulled the trigger was evil to the core.
In fact, at least two famous liberals, Michael Moore and Geraldo Rivera, would like nothing more than to see the Second Amendment repealed and tossed in the garbage can. Here’s how Moore wants liberals to accomplish that, according to Fox News:
Michael Moore thinks it’s time to repeal the 2nd Amendment and replace it with a 28th Amendment that puts the public’s safety ahead of an individual’s right to own and fire a gun.
In the wake of the Las Vegas massacre, Moore said in a lengthy Facebook post that the “ancient and outdated” 2nd Amendment was written before bullets and revolvers were even invented.
Moore’s proposed amendment says individuals can use guns for sport and gathering food, but there are heavy restrictions on how guns can be purchased, what types of guns are available to the public and where they can be stored.
“This is the sane approach that meets everyone’s needs – everyone, that is, except those of the serial killer, the mass murderer, the violent ex-husband, the disgruntled employee or the disturbed and bullied teenager,” Moore wrote.
He acknowledged that we can never eliminate murder, but we can join the community of “enlightened nations” where gun violence is not a “daily tragedy.”
Geraldo Rivera hasn’t supported this proposal yet, so far as we know, but he agreed that the Second Amendment “sucks.”
Sorry mates I love guns but If the 2d Amendment really allows psychos to buy machine guns with silencers then the 2d Amendment sucks

What these two fail to realize is that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens prevent mass shootings and other assorted crimes — and protect the citizenry from tyrannical government.
By getting rid of this amendment, the right to protect oneself and one’s property, you make everyone a sitting duck for criminals and power-hungry, corrupt officials who may one day sit in positions of power. This is precisely the reason why the Founders put this amendment in the Constitution: To ensure people had the means to defend themselves and to rise up against an out-of-control government.
Taking guns away from people is giving the government far too much power, and it shouldn’t be considered a valid option to stop crime — even one as horrendous as this one.
