I just love sharing with y’all progressive, socialist, leftist hypocrisy — and there’s never a lack of it.How many times did we hear about the venerable GOP “war on women”? How many times do we hear about how sexism? Y’all remember the Women’s March the day after the inauguration?
Well, I’m not hearing anything from the Democrats — or those feminist groups — about this latest, absurd example of self-admitted sexism.
As reported by Fox News,
A New York Democrat running for the House of Representatives is under fire for calling the female Republican incumbent in his district a “child,” while admitting it’s fair to call him “a sexist.”
Democratic congressional candidate Steve Krieg, a member of the Plattsburgh City School Board, made the comments about New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik during a Tuesday candidate forum with others seeking the seat.
“I recognize her as a child, and it has nothing to do with her age,” Krieg said. “I see her as a child because she’s a child. She thinks like a child. She has people set things up for her. She has people put their words in her mouth and she happily repeats them.”
In 2014, Stefanik, who was 30 at the time, became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. She was re-elected in 2016 and is seeking re-election again next year.
Krieg previously came under fire for referring to Stefanik as a “little girl” on Facebook over the summer. “I intend to kick your stingy, money-grubbing, sniveling coward of a butt out of Congress,” he wrote in July. “Don’t worry, sweetie, you’re a little girl. You can always run home to Mommy and Daddy.”
Discussing that episode during the candidate forum, Krieg said, “I have been accused of being a sexist for calling Elise a little girl, and I probably deserved to be called a sexist. I think most of us, if we admit it, have some sexist in us, some of the racist in us.
Rep. Elise Stefanik is the youngest woman ever elected to Congress, and sadly she’s a Republican — therefore the accomplishment isn’t as recognized as it should be.
See, the Left has defined what type of minorities deserve recognition — those who have a progressive, socialist ideology. If you’re a black conservative, and accomplished, you’re just not recognized.
Just take a tour of the new, African American Museum in Washington, D.C., and see who’s missing from the displays:
– George Washington Carver, a botanist and inventor
– Thurgood Marshall, the first black Supreme Court justice
– Clarence Thomas, who replaced Marshall as the lone black American on the Supreme Court
– Matthew Henson, who explored the North Pole
– Condoleezza Rice, except for a joint photo with Colin Powell, no mention of her accomplishments as a National Security Advisor and being the first black woman to hold that position
– General Colin Powell, whose sole appearance was in a joint photo with Condoleezza Rice and there was no mention of his accomplishments as the first black Secretary of State, or first black Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff
– Astronaut Guion Bluford, the first African-American in space
– Tim Scott, the first African-American U.S. Senator in a Southern state since the Reconstruction
– Edward Brooke, a black Republican who was the first U. S. senator elected by popular vote
– Thomas Sowell, a conservative intellectual
– Joycelyn Elders, the first African-American U.S. Surgeon General
– Josiah Henson, a slave-turned-free-man-and-speaker who escaped to Canada and became a well-known public speaker against slavery
In the history of Florida, there have only been two black Republican members of Congress, Congressman Josiah T. Walls, 1873-1876, and yours truly. I haven’t been to the African American Museum, but I do wonder if Rep. Walls’ story is told.Rep. Stefanik did indeed break a glass ceiling, but the Left doesn’t respect her for the principles and values for which she stands. As former First Lady Michelle Obama said, women who voted for President Trump voted against their own voice.
Rep. Stefanik and other minority conservatives have targets on their backs, and the Left’s “open season” of attacks against them never ends.
Why? Because we’ve dared to do that which unnerves and incenses the Left; we endeavored to think for ourselves and didn’t subscribe to their collective, herd mentality.
This chucklehead, Steve Krieg, had the courage and gall to at least admit to what he is … and what the Democrat party is: sexist and racist.
Why aren’t you hearing any condemnation of him? Because he represents who the Left truly seeks to be, and always has been. They don’t care about minorities or women — beyond being able to leverage them as victims. They despise, then denigrate, demean and disparage any and all women and minorities who achieve without having first been enabled as one of their victims.
In the famed words of Barack Obama, what Rep. Stefanik accomplished as the youngest woman ever elected to Congress was something … well, she “didn’t do that.”
Why isn’t Nancy Pelosi, the sitting House of Representatives minority leader, a woman, standing up for and defend the honor of her colleague, Rep. Stefanik?
Why aren’t the other Democrat members of Congress unifying and condemning this Krieg character — and demanding he drop out of this race?
I ain’t hearing nothing but chirping y’all … and the silence of the party of the jackass is rather telling.
Oh, can you just imagine if a Republican male Congressional candidate had said this about the youngest woman to be elected to Congress, if she were a Democrat?
Man, oh man, y’all know exactly what would be happening! This would all be linked to President Trump and the supposed misogynism and sexism of the GOP … ya know, the party of old white men, as Michelle Obama said. I suppose the former First Lady was unaware of Rep. Stefanik.
The hypocrisy is so blatant and laughable, but yet quite serious. The Democrat party of today doesn’t own any part of the moral high ground. This is disgusting and should be a front-page lead story everywhere — but the liberal, progressive media will do its best to suppress the story.
If you’re reading this missive and have a Democrat member of Congress, demand they make a statement to condemn Steve Krieg. Demand that the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee make a public apology to the congresswoman from New York for giving an admitted sexist and racist a platform.
And while you’re at it, contact the African American Museum’s curator and ask why those aforementioned individuals weren’t included in the museum. I won’t visit it until they’re prominently displayed and their story’s told. And if the story of my Florida predecessor, Rep. Josiah T. Walls, isn’t told, I will certainly not be visiting.
I’m sick and tired of seeing the progressive, socialist Left define what’s considered history — and decide who’s accomplished.
