[VIDEO] Las Vegas victim meets Trump; gives POWERFUL message that goes VIRAL

President Donald Trump flew to Las Vegas yesterday afternoon where he met with victims of the mass shooting in Las Vegas, and with first responders who helped save concert-goers.

In a video that quickly went viral, one of the victims, Thomas Gunderson, who was shot in the leg, is seen making an effort to stand when First Lady Melania Trump enters the room.  “Hi Thomas. How are you?” Melania asks, as she encourages him to sit down. “I’m okay,” he replies, still standing.

As Trump enters the room, Gunderson continues to stand to greet him. Trump reached out to shake Gunderson’s hand, saying  “Hey, this guy looks tough to me.”

I will never lie down when the President of this great country comes to shake my hand! There may be plenty of issues in this country but I will always respect my country, my president and my flag. Shot in the leg or not, I will stand to show my President the respect he deserves!

The video, which has been viewed over 15 million times, and shared nearly 400,000 at the time of this writing, was captioned “I will never lie down when the President of this great country comes to shake my hand! There may be plenty of issues in this country but I will always respect my country, my president and my flag. Shot in the leg or not, I will stand to show my President the respect he deserves!”
