Megyn Kelly makes STUNNING admission just hours before new show debuts

With Megyn Kelly’s new show set to debut this coming week, the former Fox News turned NBC anchor is making the usual media rounds in hopes of generating some buzz. As she gets set to embark on what she hopes will be a turnaround of fortunes, she’s been much more candid in recent interviews. In fact, she’s even admitted that the media has a Trump bias problem.

Kelly, who starts her new job as host of “Megyn Kelly Today” this week did admit that there were many reporters who are biased against the president.

“That’s not to say there’s not media bias. There are so many reporters who are completely biased against Trump, it’s absurd,” she said.

“He’s right that they’re biased against him,” the host continued. “They’re extremely biased against him. And some play right into it. They do themselves no service with that tactic. “

But when asked why the media is so biased against Trump, Kelly had a bizarre explanation:

the former Fox News host blamed the president, and his fans, for bringing reporters “on the field” of play.

“He is effectively, and not just him, but his most ardent supporters, have made us players on the field instead of on the sidelines where we belong,” she said.

The part she left out is that they were making all kinds of calls “from the sidelines” and most of them were one-sided

Of course, Kelly herself became a “player on the field” with her tougher than usual line of questioning for Trump during a primary debate. From there, Trump refused to participate in future debates with Kelly moderating.

While Kelly is right that that there is an absurd bias against Trump, she is wrong when she places the blame on his supporters. In truth, journalist used 2016 as an opportunity for political activism, not reporting the news. Kelly herself, was at times a participant in the problem. Naturally, Trump and his supporters were right to point out this bias.

In the aftermath, Kelly and the rest of the media have paid a steep price for their political activism. While Kelly’s foray into a new network has been a ratings failure, trust in the media overall has reached record lows. With pundits like Kelly blaming the consumer for the problem, don’t expect that reality to change anytime soon.
