Hobby Lobby’s “offensive” decoration goes INSANELY viral — over 100k comments and counting

Hobby Lobby, which has outraged some liberals in the past for their religious opposition to ObamaCare, is back, this time outraging the even kookier social-justice Left.

This time it’s not for what they won’t provide to their employees, but what they’re selling to their customers. In a world where everything is racist, apparently selling anything that slaves once contributed to producing at any point in history is now problematic. See exhibit A in social justice insanity below, in which some crazy chick on Facebook complains that selling a decoration made with cotton is offensive to the slaves no longer around to be offended by them. Over 9,000 people have shared the image.

As of writing, it appears (thank God) that the image went viral mainly because of the ridiculousness of it all. Of the 43,000 people who reacted to the image, 25,000 of them laughed at it, while only 2,600 reached angrily.

Similarly, of the 100,000+ comments, the top-rated comments (as well as the majority) couldn’t see the problem. Many pointed out that they themselves picked cotton in their youth. And were white.

The Republic still stands.
