The second installment in James O’Keefe’s expose on CNN has just been released by his organization “Project Veritas,” and this one features CNN contributor Van Jones.
The first video released yesterday featured various conversations with CNN’s John Bonifield, who has been working with CNN for 15 years. He admits, flat out, that there’s no proof for any of the claims they’re making surrounding Donald Trump and Russia, and the network is just pushing the story for ratings.
“It’s mostly bullsh*t right now. Like, we don’t have any giant proof. The way these leaks happen, they would have leaked it. If it was something really good, it would leak. So, I just feel like they don’t really have it but they want to keep digging. So I think the president is probably right to say, ‘Look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun. You have no real proof,” he told an undercover journalist.
CNN shrugged off the video, only stating that “diversity of personal opinion is what makes CNN strong, we welcome it and embrace it.”
Well, Bonifield’s opinion, that CNN is milking a nonsensical conspiracy theory, is a bit more common among CNN’s contributor’s than the network’s leadership would like to admit. In O’Keefe’s latest video, the following conversation transpires with Van Jones:
Project Veritas Journalist: “Hey man, we met in Palm Springs a few years back.”
Van Jones: “Hey good to see you man, you good?”
PV Journalist: “What do you think is going to happen this week with the whole Russia thing?”
Van Jones: “The Russia thing is just a big nothing burger.”
PV Journalist: “Really?”
Van Jones: “Yeah.”
Well thank God we know he’s smart enough to not believe a word he says.
