Tucker Carlson had possibly his most racist guest on his show earlier this month in the form of Essex Community College professor Lisa Durden.
She was on to discuss and defend a “black-only” Memorial Day party that a New York chapter of Black Lives Matter was holding. “I thought the whole point of Black Lives Matter was to speak out against singling out people based on race?” Carlson asked her.
And how did she react? “Boo-hoo, you white people are angry because you couldn’t use your ‘white privilege’ card to get invited to the Black Lives Matter all-black Memorial Day celebration.”
As you’d imagine, the rest of her defense of the event only got more racist from that point on.
It’s pretty much accepted that social justice insanity and rhetoric is coming from the nation’s college campuses, which made it even more surprising that Durden actually got herself in trouble with this embarrassing appearance.
According to The Blaze, after her appearance, Durden found that she was suspended from her teaching position at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey.
Durden blames the controversial appearance for her suspension despite the fact she had been on other Fox News shows previous to that one.
At one point, Carlson cut the microphone to the black activist, who constantly mocked and interrupted him.
When Durden tried to return to Essex County College to teach mass communication and popular culture and two speech courses, she was told to report to Human Resources after canceling her classes.
Durden received a letter from Jeffrey Lee, vice president for academic affairs, saying that she was suspended indefinitely. Although it didn’t specifically mention the appearance on the Tucker Carlson show as a reason for the suspension, Durden says administration officials cited it when speaking to her.
According to Durden, Human Resources officials told her that someone complained that she had associated herself with the college while on the show.
However, she said she never did that on the show herself.
Given that she is a social justice kook, do you want to take any guesses on what her defense in all this will be? The race card, of course!
“They did this to humiliate me,” Durden said about the manner in which they suspended her. “Essex County College publicly lynched me in front of my students.”
And her performance with Tucker Carlson wasn’t humiliating enough?
