Liberal media CAUGHT in the act with FAKE news story about Ivanka

Did you read that Saudi Arabia would be donating $100 million towards a private initiative started by Ivanka Trump following the Trump family’s visit to Saudi Arabia? You can be forgiven for believing as much, given how the media reported on it, trying to make it comparable to alleged pay-for-play in the Clinton Foundation over which Trump blasted the Clintons.

Did we mention they’re all dead wrong?

The fund in question is not linked to Ivanka Trump in any way, shape, or form — aside from the fact that she proposed it.

As the Daily Wire noted, the money is actually going toward a fund called Women Entrepreneurs Fund, which is run by the World Bank, not Ivanka. The only thing Ivanka has to do with the fund is that she proposed it. The Wall Street Journal reports (emphasis added): “Ms. Trump has made the promotion of women entrepreneurs a signature part of her focus since her father’s inauguration in January. She has advocated for issues such as paid family leave, though the issue has gained little traction in Congress. While she had proposed the idea of the World Bank fund, Ms. Trump doesn’t control it or raise money for it, one person familiar with the plans said.”

Again, this is not Ivanka’s charity, nor will she monetarily benefit from the donation at all, unlike the Clintons with their scandal-ridden Clinton Foundation.

CNN’s Jake Tapper was the only sane liberal on the matter, pointing out that this fund has nothing to do with Ivanka’s own personal financial interests.

Well, at least one liberal was honest.

Another day, another fake news story.
