It’s 2017 and some people still think women aren’t as funny as men. Luckily, liberal Muslim activist Linda Sarsour has clearly proven that’s not the case, as you can see in the video below in which she explains how Islam’s prophet Muhammad was a…FEMINIST.
“The truth, which is that our beloved prophet Muhammad was a human rights activist. he was a racial justice activist. he was an environmental justice activist…. he was an animal rights activist, he was a feminist in his own right – he uplifted the women in his community.”
Linda Sarsour is a comedian.

Geez, talk about a delusional interpretation of the Quran.
While it’s common for people to “interpret” their own values from their religious texts, one can only question how Sarsour reached such a conclusion about Muhammad’s life. Let’s just review what “feminist” facts we can learn from the Quran, such as:
Men are entitled to twice the inheritance as women (Quran 4:11): Allah commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if (there are) only daughters, two or more, their share is two thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is half.
Women’s testimony in court is only worth half of a man’s (Quran 2:282): When you contract a debt for a fixed period, write it down. Let a scribe write it down in justice between you. Let not the scribe refuse to write as Allah has taught him, so let him write. Let him (the debtor) who incurs the liability dictate, and he must fear Allah, his Lord, and diminish not anything of what he owes. But if the debtor is of poor understanding, or weak, or is unable himself to dictate, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her.
Women are not to make eye contact with men (Quran 24:31): And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like palms of hands or one eye or both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms, etc.) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband’s fathers, their sons, their husband’s sons, their brothers or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess.
Husbands can have as many as four wives – women can only have one husband (Quran 4:3): “….marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one…”
Most of those in hell are women (Hadith 1:28): The Prophet said: “I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful.” It was asked, “Do they disbelieve in Allah?” (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, “They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them.
Women aren’t as intelligent as men (Hadith 6:301): [Muhammad] said, ‘Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?’ They replied in the affirmative. He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence.’“
Something tells me that had a single one of these quotes come out of Donald Trump’s mouth she’d be calling for impeachment. But pointing out what’s in the book she’s misrepresenting? Islamophobia!
