Though it may not (yet) appear in any medical journals, the fact that Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real thing cannot be questioned.
From scores of Hollywood limousine liberals claiming they’re leaving the country (but never actually moving) to legions of fools in masks taking to the streets protesting they don’t even know what, just…Trump, the passing of nearly four months has done little to quell the liberal spiral into despair.
A term that is in medical journals is “Dissociative Identity Disorder” commonly known as “Multiple Personality Disorder” and news of President Trump’s decision to fire FBI head Jim Comey has launched liberals into a full schizophrenic meltdown.
Witness Stephen Colbert who for some reason is not only still on air but still has a job following his incredibly vile, disgusting on-air comments about the president’s mouth. Colbert’s nightly opening monologue must have the greats like Ed Sullivan and Johnny Carson rolling over in their graves as he has all but abandoned attempts at telling jokes and being funny and has instead turned the segment into one long drawn-out series of attacks on Trump. A sorry saga that gets renewed night-after-night. Last night being no exception.
Mere months ago liberals everywhere wanted Jim Comey drawn, quartered, tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail after he announced, with just weeks to go until the election, he informed congress he was re-opening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails because new information had come to light. That information surrounded Hillary’s assistant and gal pal Huma Abedin, her husband disgraced ex-congressman Anthony Weiner, his laptop and possibly Weiner’s weiner – again.
But now that Trump has fired Comey, the left’s alter-personality has emerged and they’re aghast over the canning of such a patriotic and upstanding public servant.
The Daily Wire has an interesting take on the awkward 90 seconds. Watch as Colbert tries to, well, you be the judge what he’s trying to say:
“On Tuesday, Stephen Colbert’s audience applauded news of President Donald Trump’s termination of FBI Director James Comey, prompting a gentle correction from the left-wing Democrat comedian.
Following the audience’s cheering of Comey’s removal, Colbert offered a soft rebuke: “Huge, huge Donald Trump fans here, tonight.”

“Colbert’s audience presumably views Comey as a Republican agent of sabotage who subverted Hillary Clinton’s political fortune, as per narratives pushed by the former first lady and her news media allies at CNN, The New York Times, and Politico.
Joining the left-wing and Democrat-aligned news media’s narrative, Colbert indirectly implied that Trump’s firing of Comey was intended to obstruct a good faith federal investigation into a conspiracy of domestic political subversion coordinated between the president’s political team and the Russian state.”
From hero to goat and back again? In the eyes of the left Comey seems to have gone from turncoat traitor who cost Hillary the election to hard-nosed truth detector who was fired because he was getting too close to uncovering the fact that Trump and Vladamir Putin are secretly conspiring to transmit brain control rays over cellular phone networks.
“Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m schizophrenic, and I am too.” Now will the real Stephen Colbert please stand up.
