Can you spot why liberals are FREAKING over this Ivanka billboard?

Isn’t it great seeing the same liberals complaining about “fake news” spreading fake news themselves?

Take the following viral tweet by Peter Brack as an example.

So Ivanka Trump is serving as an assistant to her father, while advancing the Trump Organization’s business interests in the Philippines? AND the Philippine president just got a White House invitation. Say it ain’t so!

Well, it ain’t so.

The image in question is five years old, and was removed a number of years ago. Perhaps such an error was to be expected, given that Brack’s source for the photo was literally “some guy on Facebook.”

Had Brack done as much as a reverse image search, he would’ve found the source of the image to be Getty Images.

Of course, when such a photo goes viral, for every hundred people seeing the initial claim, there’s one who sees the correction (and Brack hasn’t admitted that he was incorrect). And there were plenty of those in the liberal media willing to spread around the nonsense.

That included MSNBC’s Joy Reid:

And Erin Schrode, one of the youngest women to ever run for Congress:

And some visiting professor at Columbia University I’ve never heard of before:

And even NBC’s national correspondent Peter Alexander, whose pinned tweet is him “fact-checking the President,” couldn’t be bothered to do any fact checking in this case:

UPDATE: Brack has since taken his tweet down. But sorry guys – you are fake news.
