North Korea is truly becoming the laughingstock of the world, and they have no one to blame for it but their own “fearless,” hairstyle-impaired, Commie leader, Kim Jong-un.
The North Korean dictator has done a good job of making the nation a stagnant cesspool that’s stuck about 50 years behind the rest of the world, and as if that’s not bad enough, throw the horrendous oppression of the people who live there on top of things — along with empty idle threats — which are laughable — of world domination and you have a recipe for comedy.
You might recall in the famous Mel Brooks movie “The Producers,” two men trying to bilk money out of rich old ladies decide to stage a musical so bad it’s destined to fail. Their concept? “Springtime for Hitler.”
Apparently Kim Jong-un didn’t notice the movie was satire, and set out to create his own extravaganza for last weekend’s annual celebration.
According to the Independent, A cheering audience in North Korea – including leader Kim Jong-un – has watched a video showing a missile strike destroying a U.S. city.
State television aired footage of a musical staged as part of the celebrations marking the 105th anniversary of the birth of North Korea’s founder, Kim II Sung, which included a huge military parade.
The show reached its climax with mocked-up footage merging a test-firing of a missile in February, which then in the video was joined by other missiles shooting across the Pacific and exploding as they hit the U.S.
In recent months North Korea has claimed it has successfully tested a new type of medium to long-range ballistic missile, the Pukguksong-2, propelled by a solid-fuel engine.
During a military parade it displayed what appeared to be new intercontinental ballistic missiles and conducted a failed missile test a day later.
Some folks noticed odd features about the missiles which led to speculation they were only made of cardboard.
Of course what makes this even more ironic is the fact they also attempted to launch a missile a few days ago which blew up early, barely getting airborne.
What Kim Jong-un fails to realize is that the only people impressed with his propaganda are the folks he’s already brainwashed.
It’s almost sad.
