YES: Police officers just gave liberals a message they’ll NEVER forget

“We are either a united people, or we are not. If the former, let us, in all maters of general concern act as a nation, which have national objects to promote, and a national character to support. If we are not, let us no longer act a farce by pretending to it.”

George Washington, letter to James Madison, November 30, 1785

These words, from one president to a future president and author of our Constitution, could not be any truer today. What James Madison produced was our rule of law, that which codifies America as a Constitutional Republic, establishing our system of governance and the relationship of the federal government with the citizens of these United States of America.

The Constitution also mandates the roles and responsibilities of our federal government, hence why federal employees take an oath to the Constitution. Yep, when I was a Member of Congress, every one of our staff took that oath because they served the people, and service to the people is embodied in our Constitution.

So, our great first general and president, George Washington, was correct, that in all matters of general concern we should act as a nation, with national objects to promote, like our American flag and other symbols of our Republic. And a national character to support which is enshrined in our Constitution, our rule of law.

So, here’s a simple question, how is it that we have elected officials refusing to abide by the Constitution of these United States of America and protect our sovereignty and our citizens?

Fortunately, we have individuals – who happen to be armed – willing to take a stand.

As reported by the NY Daily News, “The NYPD alerts federal immigration agents to the Criminal Court appearances of immigrants facing deportation, the Daily News has learned.

As a “sanctuary city,” the city currently only complies with Immigration and Customs Enforcement “detainer” orders to hold a defendant until federal agents can take custody in cases involving violent or serious felonies. But in the process of verifying warrants against a defendant, officials said the NYPD will contact relevant law enforcement, including ICE, thereby alerting the agency to an immigrant’s upcoming appearance in a city courtroom.

Advocates slammed the practice, saying it amounts to “collusion” with immigration officials that goes against the spirit of Mayor de Blasio’s pledge that the city will remain a sanctuary city. Public defenders representing two men in ICE’s cross hairs during separate court appearances in Queens told The News they were stunned to learn the NYPD communicated with the federal agency about both men before they appeared before a judge.

On March 2, an NYPD administrative aide noted in the Central Booking system that he had “notified ICE” about the arrest of David Gonzalez, 51, screenshots obtained by The News show. The deported felon had reentered the U.S. and faced misdemeanor charges of allegedly rubbing against a woman on the No. 7 train. On March 15, the same administrative aide noted he was “awaiting call from local ICEICE office” regarding Milton Chimborazo, 35, who faced burglary charges. He had a standing deportation order.

“I think it really is outrageous,” said Lori Zeno, co-founder and deputy director of Queens Law Associates. “We’re supposed to be a sanctuary city. What does it mean if our own court system is participating in turning folks in to ICE?”

No Ms. Zeno, what is truly outrageous is your delusional interpretation of the law. Sadly, Ms. Zeno fails to understand that the NYPD members are referred to as “law enforcement” officers, and that is their primary responsibility.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has chosen to break our laws and make a political and ideological decision. Mayor de Blasio, along with countless other elected officials, are the ones acting in an outrageous manner. They’re telling the American people, their citizens, that they don’t care about upholding the law. In other words, as Washington articulated, they’re acting the farce; they’re fakes, phonies, and liars. These individuals have made it very clear, their position is antithetical to our rule of law, part of the mandates of the federal government in the preamble to our Constitution: establish justice (not this warped progressive socialist agenda of social justice) and ensure domestic tranquility (providing sanctuary to criminal illegal immigrants is quite the opposite).

You see, the problem with someone like Ms. Zeno is she obviously took a constitutional law class from some adjunct instructor like Barack Obama who embraced revisionist history and a flexible interpretation of the law, our Constitution, to fit an ideological agenda.

The problem with mayors across America like Bill de Blasio is that they’re not elected officials acting in the best interest of their citizens, their constituents. Instead they’re lords who believe they are ruling over fiefdoms, and therefore able to make their own laws. Of course, this is all to the detriment of those poor serfs for whom they care so little. And we have the elites who live behind walls, gates, and afforded their own personal 24/7 armed guards who tell us we must live with those existing in our country illegally, criminally.

We have the uniformed members of our armed services who protect us against external threats. Our local law enforcement officers provide us internal, domestic, security — that is their raison d’être. What is unnerving is that even here where I live in Dallas County, we have a Sheriff Lupe Valdez who refuses to enforce the law. Even in the county that encompasses the capitol of the State of Texas, Travis County, Sheriff Sally Hernandez refuses to enforce the law.

Now, call me a simple fella, but why are they being paid, or even still sheriffs, if they refuse to do what they’re sworn, by oath, to conduct? And this is happening in Texas – Texas, folks!

I applaud the law enforcement officers of the NYPD because they didn’t take an oath to Bill de Blasio. They’re called to serve and protect the people, the American people, the citizens of New York City. What is de Blasio, or any of these other obtuse and belligerent mayors called to do? How does this end? Just wait — these mayors will be firing these officers, and that is a travesty of justice.

It appears that loyalty must be sworn to these truly despotic elected officials, quite contrary to that simple quote from George Washington. And if these law enforcement officers are indeed fired, who will take their place…Lori Zeno? Will anyone take their place? Will the law-abiding people in these “sanctuary cities” be left with no protection? What could be worse, will any new hire law enforcement officers be forced to swear allegiance to these little mini dictators?

Yes, I believe in the system of federalism, and the Ninth and Tenth amendments of the Constitution. But this is a time when the federal government MUST take action and step in. Why? Because if not, then we have no rule of law. If the Trump administration does nothing in response to these disrespectful actions, then we’ve begun the erosion of our Constitutional Republic. And it has to be clear to us all that this Democrat Party, these progressive socialists, will do anything to undermine and destroy this Nation…and that means exposing you to the criminally illegal immigrant…yes, gangs.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how the liberal progressive left believes this is a winning issue for them. And when they start to fire law enforcement officers, it will be interesting to see with whom the police union leadership stands — the law enforcement officers and the American people, or with these delusional despots.

George Washington said we are either a united people or not…the liberal progressive left is giving us its answer.
