Conservatives STUNNED when they see who Trump just invited to play golf…

It may not be a famous saying, but it probably should be: politics makes for strange bedfellows. But (to borrow a pun), it’s par for the course. Deals must be made, and nobody knows that better than the author of The Art of the Deal, Donald Trump himself.

After seeing the first attempt at repealing and replacing Obamacare crash and burn before his eyes, President Trump vows a solution will rise again — maybe just not immediately. But as we all know, it must happen, because the current house of cards is beginning to collapse.

So it appears Trump is beginning to reach out to his harshest critics for input, advice and perhaps a little fence-mending on the golf course.

The Washington Examiner reports, President Trump brought Republican Sen. Rand Paul to Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Sunday to play golf with him, a little more than a week after the party’s healthcare bill failed.

“They’re discussing a variety of topics, including healthcare,” White House deputy press secretary Stephanie Grisham said.

Budget director Mick Mulvaney, a former leading House conservative, also joined the two.

Trump hinted earlier Sunday on Twitter that there’s potential for Republicans to unify around on healthcare.

His tweets do some to indicate some rapprochement.

Let’s hope so.

We all want to see something substantive happening regarding fixing the health care mess – not to mention allowing this new administration to govern rather than simply run around putting out fires.
