JAW-DROPPING poll tests Trump vs. Oprah in 2020; survey SAYS…

Oy vey – for at least two reasons. So should that be oy, oy vey or oy vey, vey? Who knows…

First of all the idea of Oprah Winfrey running for president is in itself a scary thought – but then again, an awful lot of people thought the idea of Donald Trump running was terrifying, not to mention him actually winning.

Secondly, as we learned in 2016, polls shmolls.

And thirdly, for crying out loud, we’re barely TWO months into Donald Trump’s first term.

Nonetheless, Zogby conducted an online survey of 1,531 adults in the US who are working full time and part time and those looking for work.

The poll asked a number of questions including do you support the repeal of Obamacare (a plurality, 47 percent, said yes); is the country going in the right direction (50 percent said no) and how’s Trump doing (53 percent disapprove).

So perhaps it’s not surprising that in the question of a presidential contest between The Donald and The Oprah, Winfrey comes out on top.

Zogby says, In a fantasy election, the mogul and former queen of daytime television defeats President Trump among American workers, 46 percent to 36 percent, with 18 percent not sure. If one television star can win the White House, why not another! Amazingly, Oprah wins a majority or plurality among almost every sub-group, including Democratic stalwarts, such as younger voters (18-24 years old-55 percent), African Americans (76 percent), Hispanics (58 percent), Asians (53 percent), and women (54 percent). She also has a plurality of support among two groups who helped Donald Trump to presidency-Independents (41 percent) and workers with no college degree (42 percent). Every income group supports Oprah over Trump. Workers earning <25k annually are the biggest Oprah supports among income sub-groups (55 percent).

Say it with me y’all: OY VEY.

Let’s just hope the Trump train gets firmly on the tracks and turns this country around so we never have to worry about this coming to fruition.
