BREAKING: House Intelligence Chair claims to have BOMBSHELL about Trump surveillance

Just when you thought the plot surrounding the whole “President Trump being surveilled” ordeal couldn’t get any thicker, new developments kick things up a notch.

Trump alleged that Trump Tower was under surveillance while former President Barack Obama was in office. FBI Director James Comey said there was no evidence such a claim was true.

Then, along comes House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes with a bombshell that could really shake things up.

Politico is reporting:

Members of the Donald Trump transition team, possibly including Trump himself, were under surveillance during the Obama administration following November’s election, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes told reporters Wednesday.

Nunes said the surveillance appears to have been legal, incidental collection and that it does not appear to have been related to concerns over collusion with Russia.

Nunes is going to be briefing the Trump administration on his findings later today, stating his information came from “sources.”

This could end up being a huge story, and a big, fat stain on an already tainted Obama administration. Guess that whole leftist brag about the former president having “no scandals” will be put to pasture.

Of course, there were plenty of scandals during his administration, such as the Benghazi ordeal, IRS targeting, etc.

One has to wonder how much the mainstream media is going to try to either bury or spin this to have canon fodder to blow at the Trump administration. They certainly aren’t going to hold Obama or his people responsible for their actions.

Isn’t it strange how concerned the government seems to have been about Trump and his relationship with Russia, and the effort they might have — if the allegations prove true — put forward to find out what he was up to?

After all, Hillary was using a private email server to conduct government business, actually got hacked, and you couldn’t get a single person in Washington to give a crap.

Funny how that works, isn’t it?
