Yikes: Disturbing TRUTH emerges about “Russian flags” in Trump audience

This week during the American Conservative Union’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), both Steve Bannon and President Trump hammered the media for their unfair coverage. The media immediately sought to defend itself, despite the fact that evidence continues to prove their agenda. In fact, immediately after President Trump’s remarks, a new fake news story broke.

From Raw Story:

CPAC scrambles to control damage after attendees wave Russian flags during Trump speech

Staffers at CPAC quickly scrambled to confiscate Russian flags with the word “TRUMP” written on the front that were being waved by attendees during President Donald Trump’s speech on Friday.

The trouble began when some attendees took out pro-Trump flags to wave during the president’s speech that also happened to have the same white-blue-and-red striped pattern as Russia’s official flag.

Reporter Peter Hamby notes that CPAC staffers quickly realized that its attendees were waving Russian flags, and moved to confiscate them.

Peter Hamby also reported on the flags via Twitter:

The narrative was clear; Trump supporters were waving Russian flags at CPAC, and CPAC was forced to do damage control by confiscating them. It fits nicely with the liberal narrative that Trump has a nefarious connection with Russia, ultimately resulting in them hacking the election to assure his victory.

There’s just one problem; these reporters were conveniently leaving out part of the story.

In fact, James O’Keefe reported via Twitter that the entire ordeal was a prank:

“Americans Take Action” is a liberal group run by Ryan that opposes President Trump. The entire situation was a setup, allowing media outlets to write misleading stories connecting CPAC attendees and Trump to support of Russia. Fortunately, CPAC caught on to the ruse and removed Ryan from the premises. Far from doing damage control, CPAC was removing someone who intentionally sought to damage the reputation of the event.

The situation is developing, but so far the media is failing to report the entire story. Despite their uproar, the press continue to prove President Trump and Steven Bannon were right.
