With the outcry from the left about Donald Trump’s outcry against a “fake news” media insurgency, you’d think said media would work a little harder at accuracy, rather than controlling the narrative.
If truly legitimate, the media will not merely denounce news they don’t like, or don’t agree with. They will provide these actual little things called “verifiable facts.”
It’s interesting that the mainstream media is likening the White House to a “propaganda state,” when they themselves are blatantly stating their job is to control “exactly what people think.”
Yep. You read that right. The people accusing the White House of controlling “exactly what people think” believe their job is to control “exactly what people think.”
From Grabien News:
Controlling “exactly what people think” is the job of the media, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski boldly declared Wednesday morning.
While discussing President Trump’s entreaties to the American people to remain skeptical of the press, Bzezinski worried that if the economy turns south, Americans may end up trusting him over the media.
“And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think,” Brzezinski said. “And that, that is our job.”
This electoral cycle has shown what those of us on the right have known all along: the hypocrisy is strong with the left.
Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Deputy Assistant to the President, did a superlative job of pointing this out on television recently. Take a gander:
Can’t say it any better than that!
