The JAW-DROPPING item this teacher’s union got caught handing out to students…

It has been well documented that college classrooms have become nothing more than place for faculty to indoctrinate students with their liberal ideology. However, the trend isn’t unique to college campuses: it’s been spreading to K-12 classrooms, as well.

Just recently, a teacher was caught staging a mock assassination of President Trump, while at another school one parent was outraged to find anti-Trump material in her child’s backpack. Clearly, liberal ideas are being forced upon students at educational institutions of every level.

Unfortunately, the trend shows no signs of slowing down, at least if the news coming from Austin, TX is any indication.

From the Blaze:

According to the Austin American Statesman, educators who are members of the teachers union group Educate Austin were recently caught handing out literature to students that instructed them on how they should handle immigration enforcement authorities should they appear at their homes and start asking questions.

It would be bad enough if teachers were just handing out political material, but teaching students how to resist federal law enforcement reaches new levels of absurdity. This is especially true when considering the circumstances that sparked the incident. The article continues:

Teachers began handing out pamphlets containing the information on how to deal with ICE after it was reported that immigration enforcement had been carrying out “Operation Cross Check,” which resulted in the 51 arrests of illegal immigrants in the Austin area. Of these arrests, 23 had criminal convictions, with some even being violent.

What kind of message are these educators trying to send to students? That enforcing the law — especially when it leads to the arrests of violent criminals — is morally wrong? Whether inadvertently or not, the message seems to be that it’s okay to resist law enforcement if you fundamentally disagree with the law.

Of course, these are the same unions that fiercely resisted the confirmation of Betsy DeVos to head the Department of Education. Opening up these teachers to robust competition threatens their ability to behave in this manner unchecked. When parents have a choice, they might think twice about sending their students to schools that teach their children to resist federal law enforcement.

Now, more than ever, educational institutions are in dire need of competition. Indeed, it may be the only way to keep educators in check.
