If you think you’ve seen the last of your crazy Uncle Joe — Biden that is — you might want to think again, especially after this latest tidbit was discovered.
It appears Vice President Joe Biden and his wife have signed with a talent agency.
Yes, this is for real.
Just imagine if a major network gave the Biden’s their own sitcom with the Obamas as their neighbors.
Terrifying, isn’t it?
Or maybe they want to try their hand at reality television.
God help us all.
According to The Washington Post:
Looks like the former veep isn’t planning a shuffleboard-and-crosswords kind of retirement. Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, have signed with the Creative Artists Agency to help “amplify” their post-White House agenda.
“Jill and I remain more dedicated than ever to addressing the critical issues of the day,” Biden said in a statement released by CAA.
Their work is likely to focus in part on the “cancer moonshot” initiative to end cancer they launched after the death of their son, Beau, from brain cancer. The couple have also established the Biden Foundation. And Biden will lead two new academic centers at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Delaware, they announced earlier this week.
Which probably won’t be a problem. In the release, CAA President Richard Lovett predicted the Bidens “will build an unprecedented post-White House career.”
Now, if the couple really do focus their future on helping to end cancer, that’s an area we can all throw some support behind, because all of us have been, in some way, affected by cancer.
However, the real question is whether or not such a platform will also be used to help push anti-Trump agendas and policies, further causing issues in the restoration of our great republic.
Either way, this is certainly an interesting development in the life of the Bidens. After the 2016 presidential election, nothing should be all that shocking on the political front.
