As we debate enforcing our immigration laws in America, Sweden is Exhibit A in what happens when you leave your borders wide open and make no effort to assimilate the incoming population. Rather than act as a melting pot (as America does), Sweden’s former Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt takes the opposite position, that “Sweden’s borders are fictional and that Sweden belongs to the immigrants who come here – not the Swedes.”
And how has that worked out for them?
As Breitbart reports:Migrants are to blame for the vast majority of serious crime in Sweden causing the police force to become overloaded, a detective has said.
In an exasperated rant in Swedish on Facebook the officer, Peter Springare, conceded it was not politically correct to say so, but nearly all the serious crime cases he had dealt with over the past week involved migrants – and that the situation had been ongoing for the last decade or more.
Describing his week, he posted: “Here we go; this is what I’ve handled from Monday-Friday this week: rape, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, rape-assault and rape, extortion, blackmail, assault, violence against police, threats to police, drug crime, drugs, crime, felony, attempted murder, Rape again, extortion again and ill-treatment.
“Suspected perpetrators; Ali Mohammed, Mahmod, Mohammed, Mohammed Ali, again, again, again Christopher… what is it true? Yes a Swedish name snuck in on the edges of a drug crime. Mohammed, Mahmod Ali, again and again.
“Countries representing all the crimes this week: Iraq, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Somalia, Syria again, Somalia, unknown, unknown country, Sweden. Half of the suspects, we can’t be sure because they don’t have any valid papers. Which in itself usually means that they’re lying about their nationality and identity.”
You can read his post in its entirety below:
He then posted a followup in response to those who are quick to make any discussion about immigration a discussion about race.
While the evidence Springare presented is anecdotal, the data does back up his observation. According to the Gatestone Institute, “Forty years after the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the formerly homogenous Sweden into a multicultural country, violent crime has increased by 300 percent and rapes by 1,472 percent.
One person pointed this out to Sweden’s official government Twitter account several months ago (which, bizarrely, is managed by a different Swedish citizen each week), and got the kind of response you’d expect in a YouTube comments section:
That was followed up with some more “interesting” tweets:
Their country is burning – but at least they don’t have to worry about being called racist. Lucky them!
