Being a conservative in Hollywood is like being a chicken in a fox den. Mention once that you think America is awesome and you’ll be eaten alive with only a few feathers floating on the moonlit breeze left as evidence of your former glory.
The entertainment industry is full of lefties who’ve worked for decades to infiltrate the film business, recognizing the medium of movies and television as prime tools in spreading progressive propaganda.
So successful are their efforts, they own the main inspiration of modern culture — often using it to drive acceptance of radicalized, anti-American ideas.
If you’re a right-winger trying to make it in the film industry, good luck. It’s nigh to impossible to get any real work if you don’t fall in line with the other leftist drones.
Actress Janine Turner recently spoke out, and said this was her experience in the business.
According to Fox Business:
Conservative actress Janine Turner says if you don’t agree with Hollywood’s liberal agenda, you might be out of a job.
“You won’t get work if you do not toe the line,” Turner told the FOX Business Network’s Stuart Varney.
The 2005 Golden Globes co-host and three-time nominee, best known for her role as Maggie O’Connell in the 90s television series “Northern Exposure,” said liberal Hollywood makes it uncomfortable for Conservatives and others who have different political viewpoints.
“The fact that Meryl Streep and all these people can get up there and they can say these things—it’s a one-way street,” she said. “Can you imagine if one of us got up at the Golden Globes and started talking about in a positive way about [President-elect] Donald Trump or in a negative way about President Obama? We would be ostracized.”
“For those who love freedom of speech,” Turner said, “it’s pretty ironic.”
Once upon a time, the entertainment industry pushed traditional American values, but since the evolution in their ranks by elite artsy-fartsy types, we’ve all but lost this important medium for communicating truth.
It’s time, dear conservatives, to start playing hardball and infiltrating Hollywood, bit by bit, and taking it over ourselves, using film and television — combined with solid storytelling — to communicate our worldview to the masses.
Doing so in this manner will help us win hearts and minds in our culture, leading to a mass exodus away from the illogical dead end of liberalism, into the hope and truth provided for by conservatism.
