Intel report CONFIRMS Putin wanted to influence election; Trump says…

Things continue to heat up over the whole Russian hack ordeal, particularly as it pertains to the country’s alleged involvement in swaying the election in favor of Donald Trump.

The president-elect had a briefing with the intelligence community today that he called “constructive,” while denying that Russia had any influence on the election.

Not long afterword, a declassified report was released that did indeed point the finger at Russian President Vladimir Putin for having an order to meddle with the election.

According to Fox News, A declassified U.S. intelligence report released Friday directly accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of ordering a campaign to influence the U.S. election and hurt Hillary Clinton’s candidacy – findings made public after officials briefed President-elect Donald Trump.

The report said:

“We assess with high confidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election, the consistent goals of which were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump.”

President-elect Donald Trump had what he described as a “constructive” briefing Friday with the intelligence community on their classified findings about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential race – while saying cyber-attacks had “absolutely no effect” on the election.

Trump went on in his statement to discuss how the media is using this controversy to create a witch hunt and that these are the actions of those who “got beaten very badly in the election.”

The one thing we know for sure is that while Putin may or may not have taken these actions, the point remains that what lost Hillary the election wasn’t Russians hacking her emails, but her own corruption coming back to haunt her.

Americans were clearly sick and tired of failed Democratic policies and were desperate for a change, so they chose something different from the status quo.

There was plenty of reasons to not vote for Clinton before the WikiLeaks stuff, such as the email scandal and the whole Benghazi incident among many others.

It’s time for the left to accept that we just didn’t want Hillary as our commander-in-chief.
