The Clinton News Network is still bitter about Hillary’s loss, and, like others, is faster to point the finger at supposed Russian hackers than to do any actual self reflection. Failing that, they can always shoot the messenger.
The man behind the curtain, Julian Assange, was interviewed by Fox News’ Sean Hannity days ago, and a number of explosive revelations were made public. Assange denies that his source had any State backing because a “14-year-old kid” could’ve hacked the DNC, given John Podesta’s email password was “password.”
Since Assange is back in the news, CNN made him a topic of discussion, and the smears came as fast as you’d expect. After exhausting the race card, they came up with a new insult. As HeatStreet reported:
Wikileaks says it will sue CNN because one of the network’s guest commentators called Julian Assange a “pedophile who lives in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.”
Former CIA counterterrorism official Phil Mudd used the term on CNN Wednesday morning while challenging Assange’s claims that the Russians were not involved in the hack of the Democratic National Committee. Assange had a high-profile interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity talking about the hacks.
Wikileaks says it will sue in 48 hours unless CNN runs an hour-long exposé on a story about a dating site’s attack on Assange. The story, published in McClatchy DC, explains how an online dating site toddandclare.com was used to try to frame Assange as both a pedophile and a Russian spy.
Wikileaks says the dating site offered $1 million if Assange would appear in one of its advertisements. According to Wikileaks, the dating side said the money was being paid by the Russians.
When Assange declined, toddandclare filed a complaint against him with the UN, claiming he had sent an 8-year-old Canadian girl in the Bahamas pornography through their data service. Toddandclare allege the girl’s father came to them with the complaint.
Given that such an assertion was made without basis, CNN issued an apology.

But on the other hand, perhaps the CNN commentator wasn’t using “pedophile” as an insult. The Left has done a fair job of defending pedophilia if not trying to normalize it.
