It wasn’t long ago that Hillary Clinton was calling it “horrifying” that then candidate Trump might not accept the results of the election as legitimate. So what did Clinton do when the results were tallied? She
gracefully accepted defeat changed her mind and decided to join Green Party candidate Jill Stein’s recount effort.
To add to the hypocrisy, liberals have been accusing Trump of pushing conspiracy theories and baseless stories, all the while claiming that the election results were illegitimate because of…. Russian hackers. What evidence to they have to support that claim? According to the Obama Administration, none.
Alas, that hasn’t stopped the recount from moving forward. And after one day of recounting votes in Wisconsin the results are in, although the news probably isn’t what Hillary was hoping for. According to the Daily Caller:
“The first day of Wisconsin’s presidential recount narrowed the gap between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President-elect Donald Trump by precisely one vote.”
“At her current pace, Clinton will overtake Trump in Wisconsin in approximately 74 and a half years. Unfortunately, the recount is expected to last just two weeks.”
If Russian hackers were trying to help Trump in Wisconsin, early results indicate they sure didn’t do a very good job of it.
Of course, the truth is that this is yet another example of Hillary Clinton saying one thing while doing another. Trump’s victory was not because of Russian hackers, it was because the thing American voters found truly horrifying was the prospect of Hillary Clinton in power.
