NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently decided to weigh in on the election, and boy oh boy is he going to make some enemies on the left.
Liberals, particularly in Hollywood and the sports industry, have been extremely vocal about their displeasure over Donald Trump’s victory, throwing massive temper tantrums and refusing to accept the man as their president.
Many have stated Trump didn’t win fairly because he lost the popular vote, but won enough states in the electoral college to become president.
According to Shaq, the real estate mogul won “fair and square,” and we need to give him a chance.
The Hill is reporting, “We have a process that’s been going on forever,” the NBA Hall of Famer told ITK on Wednesday. “And whoever wins, you just hope he does what he says he’s going to do. You know, candidate Trump promised a lot of people a lot of things.
“Now that he’s president-elect, you just hope that he can make the world a better place. He won fair and square. We have to give him a chance,” added O’Neal. “There’s no need talking about recounts and this and that.”
If you listen closely enough, you can almost hear the collective gasp of progressives across the country, as they begin to concoct creative ways to destroy O’Neal’s career.
After all, if the rioting over the election — and other assorted current events — has taught us one thing, it’s that liberals are masters of destruction.
Shaq is, of course, 100 percent correct in his assessment of the situation. The electoral college exists to ensure that even smaller states have a say in who leads our country, and without it, mob rule reigns.
Donald Trump won fairly and is the next president of the United States. It’s time for the left to learn how to deal with it.
After all, that’s what we’ve done for the last eight years, right?
