WOW: Reports say Trump picks Mike Huckabee for…

Donald Trump has made a number of major announcements over the last few days about the folks he’s bringing in to be part of his administration.

We already know Reince Priebus is his chief of staff and Steve Bannon his chief strategist. However, today he announced Sen. Jeff Sessions would be his pick for attorney general, Rep. Mike Pompeo for CIA director, and Michael Flynn, a former lieutenant general as his national security adviser.

These three individuals aren’t the only ones to get some good news from the Trump transition team today.

According to some reports, former Gov. Mike Huckabee is going to be the ambassador to Israel.

The Daily Mail is reporting, Mike Huckabee is headed back to the Holy Land.
The two-time White House hopeful, former Fox New Channel weekend host and former governor of Arkansas will be America’s next ambassador to Israel, a presidential transition official confirmed to on Friday. He is scheduled to meet with President-Elect Donald Trump Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Huckabee, an ordained Baptist preacher and electric bass player, will become the tip of Trump’s spear as he seeks to shake up U.S. foreign relations in the Middle East, beginning with relocating America’s embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

‘That’s going to happen,’ the transition official said. ‘Governor Huckabee is going to see it through.’

However, updated reports now say it has not been confirmed.

Both IJR and The Daily Mail say they’ve spoken to transition team insiders, so it would appear to be up in the air.

Huckabee is a huge supporter of Israel, so it’s likely a good move to put him in this role, but what’s even more significant is what it means for the U.S. embassy to be moved to Jerusalem.

If Trump moves forward with that idea, it’s the U.S. officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state, something many Muslims in the Middle East have been fighting against for a long time.

Muslims want to claim the city as holy for for their own religion, so radicals all over the place are not at all going to be happy with such a move.

This has a lot of massive implications for Trump’s foreign policy, so it’ll be interesting to see if he does indeed go through with it and how it will affect our relationship with Israel and other nations in the surrounding area.

If this is 100 percent true it’s a big move for Donald Trump.
