As polls tighten, Hillary BACKS OUT…

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton boards her plane at Westchester County Airport for a final day of campaigning before election day November 7, 2016 in White Plains, New York. White House rivals Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were due to duel Monday for a handful of must-win states in an end-game election frenzy capping a historically divisive campaign. With less than 48 hours until voting day, it was unclear whether the Democrat could convert into electoral gain the announcement Sunday that the FBI had cleared her again of wrongdoing over her email use. / AFP / Brendan Smialowski (Photo credit should read BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI/AFP/Getty Images)

Hillary Clinton has made it clear she feels she “deserves” the presidency, that it’s “her turn.” She’s apparently believed her presidency an inevitability for many years — even decades. And as we know all too well by now, the forces that have anointed her for 2016 — such as the Democrat National Committee, the Obama administration and their media (all part of the Clinton machine) — have done everything imaginable to prop her up.

Despite the will of large swaths of the American people who’ve fought these forces along the way (not to mention the rule of law) — nearly denying her the nomination and certainly giving her a run for her money for the general election — the air of inevitability Hillary displays has rarely faltered, even as her poll numbers have.

So, audacious as it might have seemed, it didn’t surprise too many people to hear that the Queen had already planned a display of victory fireworks over New York’s Hudson River for election night.

However, we’re learning today that she’s canceled the “victory” fireworks display, as The Daily Caller reports:

Though the Democratic nominee was planning to celebrate the outcome of the election with two minutes of pyrotechnics over the Hudson River, the Coast Guard said her had campaign scrapped their plans Monday.

According to TMZ, “Clinton’s camp reached out on Thursday to say it wouldn’t be shooting off the 10″ aerial shells after all.”

The campaign did not give the Coast Guard a reason for the cancellation.

What do you suppose could be the reason for canceling the victory fireworks? Could the Comey investigation and declining polls have been getting Hillary down last week, leading her to — momentarily — second-guess her anointedness? Will she change her mind now that Comey has given her the all-clear and POTUS, FLOTUS and the likes of Jay-Z, Beyonce, Katy Perry and Bruce Springsteen have come out to rally the troops for the Queen?

Or perhaps, it was determined that the loud noises might just be a tad too much for the Queen’s — er — condition.

To be fair, in 2012, Mitt Romney famously planned an eight-minute, $25,000 fireworks show over Boston Harbor to celebrate a victory over Barack Obama that never happened.

Looking back, one can’t help but wonder if Romney’s fireworks would have been used had it not been for the shenanigans from the liberal media (ala Candy Crowley in the last debate) and the Obama administration CYA-ing big league in the final weeks before the election (Benghazi being a biggie).

As it stands now, IF Hillary Clinton pulls off a win tomorrow, there is not an alert, awake, honest American around who won’t know it’s the same forces that put the final nail in Romney’s loss that will have enabled the most corrupt — and quite possibly most undeserving — candidate to limp into the White House in 2017.
