Things for Hillary Clinton just keep getting worse and worse, a sure sign she and her cronies should not be allowed to have a key to the White House any time soon (ever).

The latest development to hit the troubled campaign is a possible new investigation into their relationship with top agency officials, including Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik.

As we’ve reported previously, Kadzik is close buds with Hillary’s campaign chairman John Podesta.

The Daily Caller is reporting, The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee is asking the Department of Justice’s inspector general to investigate the Clinton campaign’s relationship with top agency officials, including Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik, a close friend of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

“The Department has utterly failed to manage the significant appearances of conflicts of interest,” the Republican continued,” Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote in the letter, which was sent on Wednesday to DOJ IG Michael Horowitz.

“The leadership of the Department has stuck their heads in the sand, assuming that their reputations and silence would be enough to insulate them.”

Grassley laid out a litany of potential conflicts of interest that have been recently publicized.

He noted the secret airplane meeting that Attorney General Loretta Lynch had with Bill Clinton in Phoenix in late June, just days before the FBI and DOJ were set to interview Hillary Clinton as part of its email investigation.

He also referred to Kadzik’s close friendship with Podesta, whose emails were illegally hacked and have been published by WikiLeaks.

“Reports have also illustrated long running, close ties between Peter Kadzik and the Clinton’s inner circle,” Grassley wrote, citing The Daily Caller’s report earlier this month that broke the story of the close friendship between Kadzik and Podesta.

We reported about that previously here.

An email released by WikiLeaks also shows Kadzik giving Podesta a “head’s up” about the congressional investigation into Hillary, as Breitbart also reports:

“There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify. Likely to get questions on State Department emails,” he flagged in an email to Podesta on May 19, 2015, with the subject line, “Heads up.”

Kadzik also updated Podesta on a FOIA case on Clinton’s emails.

“Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails,” he said.

Podesta forwarded the information to several campaign aides.

“Additional chances for mischief,” he warned.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for corruption and conflicts of interest. Take, for example, the fact that an FBI Deputy Director — whose wife received $675,000 from a Clinton associate — is heading up the investigation into Clinton. Congress is also demanding answers about that now.

More from Breitbart:

A key member of the Congressional Oversight Committee is questioning why the FBI Deputy Director whose wife received up to $675,000 in political donations from a prominent Clinton operative is still heading up the investigation into Hillary’s email scandal.

At the end of October, news broke that state senate candidate Jill McCabe was the recipient of nearly $500,000 in donations from a Democrat PAC run by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a long-time close associate of Bill and Hillary Clinton and one-time chairman of the Democratic National Committee. The candidate, who ultimately lost her bid, also received another $200,000 from the state Democratic Party, over which McAuliffe has heavy influence.

First-time candidate for office, Jill McCabe is the wife of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man heading up one of the Bureau’s investigations into the illicit email server Hillary Clinton hid in her home for use when she was President Obama’s Secretary of State.

Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), has sent a letter to Director McCabe demanding that he reply to questions of the propriety of his heading an investigation into the very group of people who gave so much to his wife’s losing campaign for state office.

The committee chair is asking the FBI deputy chief to supply documents detailing his wife’s financial dealings with her campaign.

“There are outstanding questions… regarding a possible conflict of interest into this case,” Chaffetz’ letter reads. The chairman also asked McCabe to reveal “when you first became aware the State Department was pressuring the FBI to reverse its decision regarding the classification of one of Secretary Clinton’s emails,” and “when you first became aware the FBI had opened an investigation into Secretary Clinton’s email server.”

It seems highly unlikely that Hillary would’ve given McCabe’s wife such a large sum of money without expecting a little something in return, which was likely a favor that would help keep her backside out of prison when all of this stuff finally saw the light of day.

As you can clearly see, Hillary and her people have taken the art of political corruption to never-before-seen levels, solidifying her crown as one of the most corrupt politicians of our time.

The only place Clinton belongs is in a jail cell. Let’s hope all of this finally lands her there sooner rather than later.
