Hillary Clinton, out on the campaign trail hot and heavy as the election cycle wanes, recently spoke to her supporters at a rally in Ohio, giving them some advice as to how they ought to respond to the email investigation being reopened.
She said they should not “get distracted” by all of the hubbub.
Sort of like how she didn’t “get distracted” by the emails sent to her by Americans working for the State Department in Benghazi, begging her to send additional security, right?
Under any other circumstances her comments would be shocking, but given everything we’ve discovered about this woman in the last few years, this sort of shenanigans is right in step with her personal character.
The Free Beacon is reporting, Hillary Clinton told supporters to not get distracted by the controversy surrounding her private email server before Election Day during a campaign event in Ohio on Monday.
“In these last days, let’s not get distracted from the real choice in this election and the consequences for your future,” Clinton said.
The distraction Clinton was referring to was the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state. FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to Congress on Friday informing legislators that the bureau discovered new emails related to her server use and will reopen its investigation, setting off a political firestorm.
If you thought that was bold, Hillary went so far as to declare to her supporters, “There is no case here.”
Gosh, who should the American people believe: the FBI, who believes there’s reason (as in 650,000 newly-discovered emails) to reopen the investigation — or the woman who is at the center of the investigation herself? Just how stupid does she thing we are? (Rhetorical question, of course.)
It’s clear that looking the other way while the Clinton’s do their dirty deeds — so many puns and jokes could come from that, but let’s just leave it right there for now — is the sort of behavior they expect from their lackeys.
If there was truly nothing to hide or a lack of substance to the email scandal, she wouldn’t be desperately trying to get folks to stick their fingers in their ears and close their eyes tight to avoid the whole mess.
Truth be told, there’s likely all sorts of horrific nightmares and nuggets waiting to be discovered here, most of which clearly prove she’s unfit for the office of president.
Let’s hope people snap out of their stupor and abandon Clinton at the polls in order to preserve our nation and prevent a criminal from gaining access to the power of the executive branch.
