President Obama has a rather lengthy list of faults and failures under his belt as the commander-in-chief, but perhaps none of them are as glaring as his total inability to handle radical Islamic terrorism.
In fact, he’s so eaten up with progressive pandering, despite numerous attacks on our own soil by jihadis, he still refuses to even use the term “radical Islamic terrorism.”
A Gold Star mom recently confronted the president over his aversion to the phrase, and true to character, his response was weak and wimpy.
According to BizPacReview, The question was posed by Tina Houchins, who lost her son Aaron Gautier in Baghdad in 2007.
“Why do you still refuse to use the term…Islamic terrorist?” she asked.
“The truth of the issue is that this is an issue that has been sort of manufactured,” said Obama. “Because there is no doubt … where we see terrorist organizations like al-Qaida or ISIL [the Islamic Strate], they have perverted and distorted and tried to claim the mantle of Islam for an excuse for basically barbarism and death. These are people who kill children, kill Muslims, take sex slaves.”
Obama went on to say that using the term might make Muslims “feel as if they’re under attack.”
Wait a second. Did he really just say that he’s afraid to use the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism” because Muslims might feel “under attack?”
These folks are somehow the victims?
What about all the innocent people who’ve had their blood spilled upon the ground by murderous radicals? Why is the president not concerned with how they and their families feel? And yes, many of them are Muslims as well. Aren’t they under attack by those radical Islamists?
It’s impossible to destroy an enemy and neutralize a particular threat if you’re too scared to even properly label it.
