Folks, as I’m traveling, I asked my team to share an update on the response from Saint Louis University on its attempts to censor my speech on “radical Islam,” which I wrote about last week. Here it is.
This is truly insidious stuff, attacking the very core of our civilization, but we won’t let it go unchecked.
Steadfast and loyal,
We’ve been watching as conservative voices and ideals are increasingly — and most brazenly — quashed within our nation’s institutions of
indoctrination higher learning. Once greenhouses to nurture the free exchange of ideas, many of our nation’s college campuses have become “safe spaces” to “protect” special snowflakes students from opposing views (and reality in general). “Free” speech has in many cases become limited to speech the progressive powers that be deem acceptable. Those who dare attempt to speak on issues that threaten the liberal progressive socialist left agenda are being censored.
As Col. West shared with us last week, he now finds himself the target of such censorship at the hands of university officials at Saint Louis University (SLU). It seems the university took issue with Col. West’s daring to speak about — gasp — “radical Islam.”
And now we know the truly insidious reason behind the university’s censorship.
As posted at the YAF website last week:
This week an administrator at Saint Louis University (SLU) informed students organizing a YAF-sponosred lecture by Lt. Col. Allen West they were not allowed to use the words “radical Islam” on any advertisements for the event.
The administrator also claimed West, who is a veteran of both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, does not “have experience with radical Islam.”
These comments were made after students submitted event flyers for approval and campus officials rejected their design due to the inclusion of the words “radical Islam.”
One might think it’s simply that our president’s refusal to utter the words “radical Islam” has simply metastasized across this nation. And, while that may be true, the real root of Saint Louis University’s censorship is even more insidious and alarming.
After Col. West demanded a response, Saint Louis University President Fred P. Pestello posted this response:
As members of a Catholic, Jesuit University, we value and uphold the dignity of every person. I am pained that the members of our Muslim Students’ Association — our students — have been demonized by a retired lieutenant colonel, former congressman, and provocateur, who will be a guest of SLU’s College Republicans student organization on Thursday night.
I, for one, condemn the claims made against our students who belong to the SLU Muslim Students’ Association — people we study and live with and know to be peaceful, tolerant, and merely seeking what we all strive to obtain: a rigorous education, a good job, and a safe and secure future for themselves and their families. In recent days, many others and I have worked to hear and understand the pain our Muslim students and allies are feeling. Let me take this opportunity to remind these and all — SLU students that I am in solidarity with you. Our University’s mission calls us to love and support each other.

What President Pestello fails to mention, as he slams Col. West for “demonizing” the Muslim Students’ Association, is that the Muslim Students’ Association is a part of the terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
As Col. West has written about extensively, the Muslim Brotherhood is the original Islamic terrorist group, founded in 1928 by Hasan Banna. (Many nations have officially designated the Muslim Brotherhood an Islamic terrorist group — but not the United States.) It was responsible for the assassination of Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat — who sought peace with Israel. It was Mohammed Akram of the Muslim Brotherhood who, in 1991 wrote their strategic plan – Explanatory Memorandum — for their goals and objectives here in America.
That memorandum, found in a 2004 FBI raid, lists (p. 295) the Muslim Students’ Association as one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s organization.
The Brotherhood’s goal for member organizations such as the Muslim Students’ Association — such as the one on Saint Louis University’s campus, which had university administrators censoring the words “radical Islam” — is explained in detail in the aforementioned Explanatory Memorandum. In short, it intends these soldiers of its member organizations to carry out “Civilizational Jihad” — “a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
In order for Islam and its Movement to become “a part of the homeland” in which it lives, “stable” in its land, “rooted” in the spirits and minds of its people, “enabled” in the live of its society and has firmly-established “organizations” on which the Islamic structure is built and with which the testimony of civilization is achieved, the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain “the keys” and the tools of this process in carry out this grand mission as a “Civilization Jihadist” responsibility which lies on the shoul- ders of Muslims and – on top of them – the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.
The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.
The case of what’s happening with Col. West illustrates what appears to be happening more widely across our nation’s campuses. The politically-correct
sheeple university administrators and professors are eating right out of the hands of the Muslim Students’ Association — and, ultimately, the Muslim Brotherhood. They are complicit in furthering the “civilizational jihad” which designs to destroy our civilization from within.
But we won’t go down without a fight — which is why Col. West will be on the campus of Saint Louis University Thursday (tomorrow) evening, as planned, with the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Explanatory Memorandum” in hand. Those students will be in for quite a speech — and the university administrators, perhaps their own personal horror.
As Col. West noted, they picked the wrong person to pick a fight with!
