Among those in the medical community who expressed concern over Hillary Clinton’s health was HLN’s Dr. Drew. HLN is a spinoff of CNN. Back in August, he stated during a radio interview that he was “gravely concerned” about both Hillary Clinton’s health and her health care… and just days later, CNN quietly announced that Dr. Drew’s show would end in late September.
Was the timing coincidental? Perhaps – but Dr. Drew doesn’t think so. According to radio host Adam Carolla, who once hosted the show “Loveline” together (and now the Adam & Dr. Drew Show), Drew is afraid to speak of Hillary’s health again.
Adam Carolla, longtime friend and radio partner of Dr. Drew Pinsky, said the doctor is scared to come on his show [The Adam Carolla Show] , or any show, to talk about the health of Hillary Clinton or any hypotheticals pertaining to her medical situation. Carolla and Dr. Drew co-hosted the syndicated radio show Loveline for 10 years from 1995 to 2005. Carolla had wanted Dr. Drew to come on his show to discuss Hillary’s pneumonia diagnosis.
Carolla said Pinsky has a “couple of deals brewing” and he does not want to risk it by further commenting on her health.
“Here’s the New World Order — it may exist, it may not exist — but whether it actually exists or doesn’t exist in Drew’s mind he cannot come on this podcast and speak about Hillary Clinton even in a hypothetical way,” Carolla said on Monday’s edition of The Adam Carolla Show. “I said I knew he was going to be a puss. I said just come on and talk about pneumonia, just talk about pneumonia and then we’ll do the Hillary Clinton math. No. Got a couple of deals brewing and he does not want to risk those deals.”
“I’m not here to tell you what is and isn’t,” Carolla told his listeners. “I’m here to tell you that there is a perception from Dr. Drew, who has lived in this town and worked in this town for 30-some odd years, that he can not [talk about it].
“Now he can come on and tell you that Donald Trump had a baby’s arm growing out of his a–hole, no problemo, and he would not have difficulty, potentially, finding work. But in his mind, with a couple of these deals pending, not a good idea as a physician to speak about one of the candidates who probably will become president and her medical condition the day after a huge story. Not going to risk it,” he said.
Shouldn’t we live in a world where it’s politicians who fear the media, and not the other way around?
