DESPERATION: Hillary makes ludicrous new attempt to paint Trump as racist

For someone who commonly attributes criticisms of herself to the “vast right-wing conspiracy,” Hillary Clinton is full of conspiracies of her own. That was on full display during her recent speech about the so-called “alt-right” — a political “movement” that exists nowhere but the internet’s message boards. Among the things we “learned” from that speech are that this movement is a racist ideology, somehow was involved with the Brexit, and that “the grand godfather of this global brand of extreme nationalism is Russian President Vladimir Putin.” We also “learned” the alt-right has taken over the Republican Party, even though the overwhelming majority of people (including the majority of those who attended that speech) weren’t even familiar with this group’s very existence.

Among the latest revelations from Hillary’s “investigation” into the alt-right? That Pepe the Frog is now racist.

For those unaware, Pepe is a cartoon frog who began his internet life as an innocent meme enjoyed by teenagers and pop stars alike.

It all started when Donald Trump, Jr. and Roger Stone posted the following photos to their Instagram and Twitter accounts, mocking Hillary’s “basket of deplorables” gaffe.

Hillary Clinton thought this was somehow worth addressing, posting to her website the following exposé:

Why is there a frog standing directly behind Trump?

That’s Pepe. He’s a symbol associated with white supremacy.

Wait. Really? White supremacy?

That’s right.

Please explain.

Here’s the short version: in recent months, Pepe’s been almost entirely co-opted by the white supremacists who call themselves the “alt-right.” They’ve decided to take back Pepe by adding swastikas and other symbols of anti-semitism and white supremacy.

But it’s just his son and one of his closest advisers, right?

Hillary truly is addressing the major issues now, isn’t she? You want to know who else has shared images of this “racist” frog? Singer and Hillary Clinton backer Katy Perry is just one example:

It’s a popular cartoon — Hillary does realize that the point of internet memes is that they’re widely circulated, no?

Are we really living in a world where a 68-year-old politician is attempting to interpret and explain internet culture? Hillary is so out of ideas that she’s resorted to attacking an internet meme of a frog as “racist.” It’s both hilarious and an obvious sign of desperation — and a reminder of just how out of touch she really is.
