YES! Colin Kaepernick gets what he DESERVES…

Yes, Colin Kaepernick’s 15 minutes are well beyond up. We’re all tired of hearing this privileged, multi-millionaire “one-percenter” whine about racial injustice and police brutality. To be honest, we even hate to give him any more oxygen on this page.

However, y’all might be interested to hear that Colin Kaepernick is about to learn his actions do have consequences. Sure, he can use his spotlight to highlight his own agenda. He can exercise his free speech to sit out our national anthem — and disrespect our nation’s men and women in blue by his words and his attire.

Well, guess what, others have a similar right to refuse to subject themselves to such an environment. And the police officers who work the San Francisco 49ers games may do just that.

Via NBC Bay Area:

Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice and police brutality, as well as his critical words directed at officers across the nation, have the Santa Clara police union saying its officers might stop working San Francisco 49ers home games.

NBC Bay Area obtained a letter, penned by union members, to the San Francisco 49ers stating that if the organization does not take action against Kaepernick, “it could result in police officers choosing not to work at your facilities.”

The letter also stated that “the board of directors of the Santa Clara Police Officer’s Association has a duty to protect its members and work to make all of their workings environments free of harassing behavior.”

Officers are frustrated and angered with Kaepernick’s comments about police brutality and the San Francisco quarterback’s decision to wear socks during practice that depict pigs in police uniforms, according to the association.

The San Francisco 49ers organization reiterated Friday night that it stands behind a statement it made immediately following reports of Kaepernick’s decision to sit down during the playing of the national anthem before San Francisco preseason game against Green Bay last week.

In that statement, the franchise said, “In respecting such American principles as freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose to participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem.”

Isn’t it curious which freedom of expressions the NFL chooses to support and what they choose to restrain? They have been very supportive of Kaepernick’s right to snub our national anthem. And it was just hunky dory for NFL players to make “hands up, don’t shoot” gestures on the field.

Meanwhile, the league silenced the Dallas Cowboys’ attempt to honor police officers with an “arm-in-arm” decal on their helmets. Division is supported, while unity is not. More to the point, it appears that the “right” speech is allowed but that which doesn’t fit the politically correct agenda of the left is not. Seems that certain agendas, such as that of Black Lives Matter, are embraced, while those supporting our men and women in blue are not.

And if one of the goals of Black Lives Matter to get rid of police, the group’s supporters Kaepernick and the NFL may just be about to find out how that world without police actually works in practice.

Anyone want to bet how that all works out?
