Trump narrows gap with Clinton to statistical tie

A new presidential poll from Breitbart is very interesting for two reasons. First, for the data within and second, for how it’s being reported.

The data shows at this moment, the presidential race is a statistical dead heat, with Hillary Clinton at 42 percent and Donald Trump at 41 percent.

The important thing is, in the last Breitbart/Gravis poll conducted August 14th, Clinton led at 42 percent to Trump at 37 percent in a four-way race with Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party Jill Stein.

In the last two weeks, Trump has picked up four points, significantly narrowing the gap.

But, that’s not how the Washington D.C. establishment sees it. Check out this headline from The Hill:

Yep, poll shows Trump losing to Clinton.

In its article, The Hill is also quick to point out Trump’s new campaign CEO recently joined from Breitbart, as if to say “you’re in the tank for Trump, but you STILL can’t make him win.”

C’mon guys. The poll has a 2.5 percentage point margin of error. It’s a statistical tie. Get over it.

Every single day it seems another stunning revelation has emerged about Hillary Clinton’s highly questionable dealings in the State Department and her Foundation, more lies about her emails and server, the government’s intentional foot-dragging in making much of this information public – not to mention her seeming inability to stand up on her own two feet.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump faces scrutiny for his…choice of words.

You’re darn right she’s sinking in the polls. This woman cannot be elected.
