One of the biggest concerns on the minds of Americans, considering the horror show that would ensue if Hillary Clinton became president, focuses on her stance about gun control and the Second Amendment.
The former secretary of state’s supporters were recently asked whether or not they believed the right to bear arms should be repealed.
The answer they gave seemed to differ from the one held by the Democratic nominee.
According to TheBlaze, “Do you think it would be a good idea to repeal the Second Amendment?” Campus Reform reporter Cabot Phillips asked Clinton supporters outside a campaign stop in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Annandale, Virginia.
“Oh yeah, definitely, I really think that we really need to start viewing human rights as more important than gun rights,” one person replied.
Completely lost on this person is the irony that human rights of the unborn have absolutely no value to the left.
Another responded, “I think yes because the document was written 200 years ago.”
Oh, just because it’s old? Then clearly it must be time to scrap the Ten Commandments as well because they’re just so yesterday.
Phillips asked others if, in an “ideal world,” they would repeal the right to keep and bear arms and get rid of the National Rifle Association.
“Yeah, I think it would be a good idea. I hate the NRA,” one individual said. Another Clinton supporter agreed, saying the Constitution was written by humans and that “humans make mistakes.”
Another person who said he’s “from a relatively wealthy area,” added, “I don’t think there’s any reason anyone would need a gun in that area.”
No? Except to rob you maybe?
Clinton herself has stated that she doesn’t want to “repeal” the Second Amendment, but is in favor of stricter background checks and “commonsense regulations.”
These is all simply code speak for dismantling our right to own a gun, brick by brick instead of all at once.
Truth be told, she — and just about every other liberal — wants to see firearms banned in this country, but considering most rational people understand only criminals will own them if that happens, they’re not going to give them up easily.
