I (Matt Palumbo) still have yet to see a liberal confess the reason gun control hasn’t had any success in Congress is because the American people seriously don’t want it.
It’s always the fault of the NRA somehow. It’s never considered that perhaps the reason the NRA is so powerful is because it represents the views of most Americans. The organization does have a higher approval rating than Congress, after all. Also, are we supposed to believe that liberals in Congress aren’t just as incentivized in the opposite direction due to donations and lobbying from anti-gun groups?
MSNBC is currently conducting a poll on their website asking, “Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?” One can only hope the responses get this point across to those who made it. They practically couldn’t be any more skewed in one direction. With over roughly 500,000 votes so far, 465,000 voted in favor.

What’s the excuse going to be for these results? That the NRA paid off these 465,000 people?
