Let’s take a quick review of all the bovine excrement coming out of the Obama administration. No, we don’t have all day, but let’s just look at a top line review. First, we know White House Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes created lies and falsehoods about the Iranian nuclear deal. What was the Obama administration response? Tell the House Oversight Committee that Rhodes would not be testifying. We shared the specific reason with y’all last week here.
There can be no doubt that what Obama administration officials say is a reflection of what President Obama believes and embraces. After all, these people make absurd statements – remember Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction? And they lie but are never held accountable. Heck, even Eric Holder was responsible for U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry losing his life – but there were no consequences. So it must be deduced that Barack Obama is just fine with it all — doggone, he abandoned Americans to die in Benghazi, lied about it and was reelected.
Which leads to the recent comments by the VA Secretary regarding veteran wait times.
As reported by CNN, “Veterans Affairs Secretary Bob McDonald downplayed Monday the time it takes for veterans to receive medical treatment by comparing the “experience” of waiting for health care to Disneyland guests waiting for a ride.
“When you go to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what’s important?” McDonald told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast in Washington. “What’s important is what’s your satisfaction with the experience?”
American Legion National Commander Dale Barnett excoriated McDonald: “The American Legion agrees that the VA secretary’s analogy between Disneyland and VA wait times was an unfortunate comparison because people don’t die while waiting to go on Space Mountain.”
“We also disagree with the substance of his comment because wait times are very important to not just the satisfaction quotient, but in some cases the veterans health,” he said in a statement.
Prominent Republicans criticized the secretary in the hours following his remarks, including presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, who painted McDonald as an example of Obama’s administration.
“Obama’s VA Secretary just said we shouldn’t measure wait times. Hillary says VA problems are not ‘widespread.’ I will take care of our vets!” Trump tweeted, a reference to comments Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton made in 2015.”
The one word I have for McDonald is RESIGN, and I mean yesterday for making such an inane and callous statement, but he will not. Let’s not forget this is the same McDonald who said he’d served with Special Forces. He never did. Perhaps his mind was clouded with Tinkerbell’s pixie dust at the time.
Clinton should have been forced to withdraw from the presidential race for dismissing the issue of VA care and support to our veterans — instead folks (admittedly in small numbers) show up at her rallies and cheer in mindless and moronic fervor.
Let’s just be honest, if this were a Republican administration, this would be the top story, breaking news, and there would be a call for an immediate firing. However, it’s a progressive socialist administration and a liberal progressive media who will not push the edge, and instead give cursory reporting.
Can you just imagine how many reporters would have descended on the VA hospitals nationwide doing exposes and documentaries about the VA problem if it were a Republican presidential administration? Or any of the other insidious and nefarious scandals surrounding the Obama administration? Funny, the left still talks about President Bush and lying, as they did in the hearing last week about Ben Rhodes, but they NEVER address the countless instances of Obama lies. As we reported yesterday about Obama working with Boeing, greasing the skids for them to gain access, backdoor access, with Iran — heard anything? Course not.
Secretary McDonald and the Obama administration will issue some weak-as-pond-water excuse about the nature of these comments. The Obama administration would have much to gain by admitting they found his comments reprehensible, and President Obama has accepted his resignation — meaning he was fired.
Nope, McDonald’s statement is a reflection of exactly how the Obama administration, and President Obama himself feels about our most prized resource, our veterans. And just wait, Obama will be invited to speak at veteran’s organization events later in the year – whether it’s the American Legion or Veterans of Foreign Wars. If not Obama himself, it will be Vice President Joe Biden…the answer should be to tell the Obama administration that NO ONE from their happy little camp of liars and deceivers will be invited to speak before men and women of honor, integrity, and character — our U.S. military veterans. Do any of you think that will happen?
Look, the horse is smelling the barn and the Obama crew know they have seven months to go. Their mindset is, what are they gonna do to stop us? No one is going to impeach Obama. No one is going to cut the budgets of the bureaucratic administrative state when they make these unconscionable rules that cost the private sector money — such as the overtime rule.
No one is going to make these Obama administration officials show up and demand answers — heck, we reported here that it may be years before we know what happened with those ten US Navy Sailors captured by the Iranians.
The bottom line is, if there’s one defining theme for the Obama administration it’s unaccountability, certainly not transparency. They’ve been completely unaccountable for countless issues and allowed undeniably to have a get out of jail free card with no credit limit. It will be just comical to see next January when there’s a Republican presidential administration how the liberal progressive media will all of a sudden gain a conscience.
Hey, Washington Post, where are all of your legions of reporters? Oops, forgot, all busy digging up dirt on Donald Trump. Needless to say, if y’all were to get off your arse and just walk down the street, you’d find plenty of dirt at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And VA Secretary McDonald, I find it hard to believe you ever wore the uniform of our Army. Then again, that’s correct, all you did was wear a uniform, like a costume — hence why you can compare veterans to kids going to Disneyland. What kind of depraved mind would think of such a thing? And what type of person so devoid of character would utter such a thing?
Sir, do the honorable thing, if you can, and resign — or forever be known as a member of the most disrespectful, manipulative, and despicable presidential administration in the history of our Republic.
