Imagine this, you’re the National Security Advisor of the United States of America. What would be your priorities?
Would you be thinking about the security situation in Eastern Europe, with Russian aggression and belligerence evidenced by the “buzzing” of our warship in international waters of the Baltic Sea? Or how about the fact that they overran the Crimea and severely threaten eastern Ukraine and the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, along with Moldova? Would you be concerned about the collusion of Russia with Iran and the impending sale of the venerable and lethal S-300 surface-to-air missile system, along with T-90 tanks and fighter aircraft?
Maybe you would be advising the president on the failure of the Iranian nuclear deal, which we now know was predicated on a false narrative — as revealed by Ben Rhodes. Heck, maybe as the National Security Advisor you would be firing Ben Rhodes.
What about the growing Chinese hegemony in the Pacific and their cyber threats? And how about the little pudgy guy in North Korea, hmm, how many Americans does he have imprisoned?
Lastly, imagine if you were the National Security Advisor of the United States of America, what are you advising the president on when it comes to the proliferation of the global Islamic jihad? After all, the Director of the FBI just reported they are dealing with more than 1,000 cases of ISIS infiltrators in the United States.
Well, the National Security Advisor of the United States of America, Susan Rice, is really concerned about — none of the above.
As reported by the Washington Times:
In a White House often accused of being stacked with loyalists, President Obama’s national security adviser said Wednesday there are too many white people in key government posts, endangering national security because they think alike.
Speaking at Florida International University’s commencement, Susan E. Rice, who is black, said a diversified government workforce is more likely to yield “better outcomes” than a predominantly white one.
Referring to criticism that the U.S. national security workforce is “white, male and Yale,” Ms. Rice told the graduates, “In the halls of power, in the faces of our national security leaders, America is still not fully reflected.”
“By now, we should all know the dangers of ‘groupthink,’ where folks who are alike often think alike,” she said. “By contrast, groups comprised of different people tend to question one another’s assumptions, draw on divergent perspectives and experiences, and yield better outcomes.”
Her comments were reminiscent of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who said in a speech in 2001, before Mr. Obama appointed her to the high court, “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”
Ms. Rice elaborated in her speech on how having more minorities in the national security field would better protect the homeland.
“Intelligence analysts, diplomats and military officers who are native speakers may pick up subtle nuances that might otherwise go unnoticed,” she said. “Diplomats who can read cultural cues may better navigate the political and social currents of a foreign nation. In sum, leaders from diverse backgrounds can often come up with more creative insights, proffer alternative solutions and thus make better decisions.”
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Mr. Obama agrees with that sentiment. “The president certainly believes that our government is most effective and is making the best decisions when we have a government that looks like the country,” he said.”
OK, I get it, all y’all white folks just think alike and that’s why we don’t have an effective national security strategy. If our national security team looked more like the “Reading Rainbow” and got together and sang Kumbaya, well, everything would just be hunky dory. We just need more diversity in the government with our national security and we can then outthink Putin, Rouhani, Khameinei, Xi Jinping and lil’ Kim with the bad haircut.
Yep, that’s the ticket, folks, according to Rice and Obama…if only our national security team looked more like America. Now, I just have to ask, is that the winning formula for sports teams? If we have more diversity, we’ll win. If we have all black guys on the defense, or if all the guys on the offensive line are white, then we will not have success. Man, if only baseball teams did not have too many white guys, yep, that would enable them to win more World Series championships.
Here is a blinding flash of the obvious. The reason why the Obama national security team sucks is because they are a group of incompetent liars and Kool-Aid drinking sycophants. Harsh? Yep. It’s a harsh world when your national security strategy is centered on the maxim of “Don’t do stupid [email protected]” And you have to be a real dunce to still do stupid [email protected], even if that’s your guidance.
Aiding Islamic jihadists in Libya to destabilize the country and not having a follow-on plan — that is stupid. Completely ignoring the advice and counsel of your uniformed Generals and conducting a complete withdrawal of forces from Iraq — that is stupid. Giving billions of dollars to the world’s number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism — that is REALLY stupid. Inviting the Chinese leader and giving him an official state dinner when they are the biggest culprits of cyber attacks against the United States — man, that is freaking stupid.
And to be the black National Security Advisor for a black President, who had a black General in charge of U.S. Central Command, and with a black modern-day version of Rasputin all in the White House and say that the national security agencies are too white — that is priceless. This is the same old tired “affirmative action” drivel that is all about government-mandated diversity quotas to make things just right. It is never about competence. How about this, let’s send more young qualified minorities to Daniel Morgan Academy in Washington DC — dunno what this is, then look it up.
You know, this was supposed to be a “post-racial” presidency, yet all we get from these chuckleheads is more talk about race. It is as if they have a solution looking for a problem, and they fail to recognize the evident problem before their eyes — they are incompetent buffoons. Their response to the aforementioned issues in the area of national security is that there are too many white people, and we know all y’all think alike.
Can you just imagine if a white White House official said that all blacks think alike? This reminds me of Obama’s response to the Islamic terrorist attack in San Bernadino last December was that we needed more gun control — another example of “stuck on stupid.”
But here’s the lesson to be learned here, the “teachable moment.” The liberal progressive response to any dire issue or situation is not to address it and solve it, but to use it as a platform to push their ideological agenda — gun control, or in this case, diversity. It is as Rahm Emanuel said, “never let a good crisis go to waste.”
So, thanks Susan Rice, the same person who told us on five Sunday news shows that a video caused a spontaneous demonstration — where guys showed up with RPGs and mortars. The same Susan Rice who stated Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction. Just let us know if only we had fewer white folks we would have a better national security strategy, because diversity means you get varying insights and perspectives.
Ms. Rice, I am a black guy, who served in the Army for 22 years, and here’s my perspective and insight into our current national security strategy — it is FUBAR. And skin color, or gender, has nothing to do with that assessment — it is all about being realizing you, President Obama, and Valerie Jarrett have not a clue.
Funny thing, y’all are all the same color but the deduction is not about pigmentation, but rather comprehension.
