When it comes to the growing scandal surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, her defenses have solely consisted of claims that weren’t disproven at the time.
Whether it be her bogus claims that the server was authorized by the State Department, that she’d never sent classified information over the sever… perhaps she was hoping no fact-checkers would actually bother to check?
Her latest lie was uttered on Tuesday – and didn’t even make it to the weekend before being shot down.
As the New York Post reports: On Tuesday, MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell asked her outright: “Have you been contacted — or your representatives contacted — by the FBI to set up an interview” over her e-mail mess?
Clinton gave a flat “no.”
Two days later, news broke that the FBI has already interviewed Clinton’s closest confidant, Huma Abedin, and other top aides. And officials close to the probe say Hillary’s to be interviewed in the next few weeks — which means she’s surely been contacted.
If Clinton tells you the sun is about to rise in the East, it’s probably wise to keep one eye on the West.
How do you know if what Hillary has to say about her private emails is a lie? If her lips are moving, that’s confirmation enough.
