There’s a pretty hot topic going about in the country and I wanted to share my perspective – and by the way, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders weren’t very clear about the issue. I’m speaking about the declassification of the 28 pages of the Congressional 9-11 report that potentially includes reference to Saudi Arabia.
In fact, as Andrew McCarthy writes for the National Review in a detailed exposé of Saudi connections to the attacks, It is long, long past time…for the United States government to come clean with the American people, and with the families of Americans slaughtered on 9/11 by 19 jihadists, 15 of them Saudis. The government must disclose the 28 pages of the 2002 congressional report on the 9/11 attacks that it has shamefully withheld from the public for 14 years. Those pages outline Saudi complicity in the jihad.
Well, apparently the Saudis have given us their response about making those pages public loud and clear.
As reported by Fox News, “Saudi Arabia has reportedly told the Obama administration and congressional leaders it will sell billions of dollars in U.S. financial assets if Congress passes a bill to make the Saudi government legally responsible for any role in the 9/11 attacks.
The administration has tried to stop Congress from passing the legislation, a bipartisan Senate bill, since Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir last month told Washington lawmakers his country’s position, according to The New York Times. Al-Jubeir purportedly informed the lawmakers during a trip to Washington that Saudi Arabia would be forced to sell as much as $750 billion in Treasury securities and other American financial assets on the world market, fearing the legislation could become law and U.S. courts would then freeze the assets.
The revelations about the Saudis’ ultimatum come several days after reports that President Obama will soon decide whether to declassify 28 pages of sealed documents suspected of showing a Saudi connection to the deadly 9/11 terror attacks.”
Let me be very clear, if the Saudis had any connection in funding an attack on the United States we have a problem. The Saudis have never been our true allies but have developed a rather insidious dominant relationship with us. There is nothing about the values of Saudi Arabia that are consistent with those of our Constitutional Republic. The House of Saud has been funneling resources to Sunni Islamic jihadists for many years in order to placate the Wahabbi sect and its vile ideology. They’ve been supporting the political, educational and societal/cultural infiltration into our nation and using their petrodollars to buy favor.
Most Islamic studies curricula on our college campuses are funded by Saudi Arabia. It is time we came to realize this is a cancerous relationship.
How dare the Saudis tell us that we “infidels” cannot travel to their cities of Mecca and Medina or be able to openly display the articles of our Judeo-Christian faith heritage. How dare they demand our women acquiesce to their standards of dress and demeaning attitudes. I say declassify the 28-page document and if Saudi Arabian officials are found to have been supportive of the Saudi 9-11 terrorists, then we need to clearly show them their actions have consequences. How dare these people threaten us with economic blackmail. Is that the action of an ally?
It’s time we tell the Saudis to go pound sand and send them away, if they are found complicit in the 9-11 attacks. We need to reenergize our energy security assets and produce, consume and export those resources in order to undermine the Saudis. We need to shut down our embassy there and send their diplomats home.
We must realize there’s no friendship relationship but rather one based on subservience and subjugation, as well as dismissal of some of the most abhorrent behavior. Where are all the gay activist groups knowing that the Saudis have committed to eradication of homosexuality by death? Funny, the LGBT community can get their dander up about not getting a damn cake baked for a “gay marriage” but they say nothing about the execution of gays by Saudi Arabia. That speaks to their level of courage and conviction on the issue.
This is why we should be clearing up our debt and not be dependent on these wolves in sheep’s clothing. This is a very serious issue. If there is definitive blood on the hands of Saudi officials relating to the 9-11 attacks, it is an act of war they supported and financed.
And it’s time we tell these state supporters of Islamic jihadism we will not stand for this. If the Saudis decide to sell off the $750 billion, then every single property in America owned by the Saudis should be confiscated. Every single mosque they’ve constructed in the United States should be closed and the property sold with the proceeds to be contributed to the U.S Treasury. Now, of course the spineless progressive socialists who are fine with our Naval warships being buzzed and our Sailors being placed on their knees at gun point, will cower and attack my words.
I think we all need to understand, we are becoming the weakling at the beach having sand kicked in their face by the bullies. It’s time we chowed down some spinach and simply said, “I’ve had all that I can stand, and I can’t stands no more.”
I fully support the bipartisan legislation to have the 28 pages from the 9-11 report declassified. I don’t care about presidential administrations. I care about my country and having it not being disrespected by anyone. Our country deserves to know the truth, and we will not be intimidated by the Saudis. And if there are businesspeople and politicians who care more about the Saudis than our nation and its citizens, then shame on you!
