Will what Trump just said about ISLAM derail his campaign?

When Trump released a plan to put a temporary ban on Muslim immigration, the liberal media declared for the millionth time that this would be the comment to end his campaign.

Except it didn’t – his poll numbers actually increased. The media can’t seem to “stump the Trump” (as the phenomenon has been described).

When it comes to his feelings on the situation in the Middle East, he didn’t sugarcoat a thing. As the Daily Caller quoted from a recent interview had with Anderson Cooper: I think Islam hates us.“There’s something there. There’s tremendous hatred there. It’s a tremendous hatred. We have to get to the bottom of it. There is an unbelievable hatred of us.”

This is a huge difference from the candidates on the other side of the aisle, who do everything they can to clarify they’re only talking about radical Islam.

Cooper asked, “In Islam itself?”

“You’re gonna have to figure that out, OK? You’ll get another Pulitzer. But you’re gonna have to figure that out,” he told Cooper. “But there is tremendous hatred, and we have to be very vigilant. We have to be very careful. And we can’t allow people coming into this country who have this hatred of the United States — and of people that are not Muslim.”

Is it actually possible for a religion to hate anyone? Of course not – but the attitude of citizens in the most Islamic countries isn’t exactly pro-American.
