BREAKING: Another GOP candidate just DROPPED OUT of the race after New Hampshire…

After placing a disappointing sixth in yesterday’s New Hampshire primary, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced he would be taking a pause from the campaign trail to “take a deep breath” and evaluate his presidential campaign’s future.

Apparently, the governor didn’t need long to evaluate, as we’re now learning this morning he’s bowing out of the race.

Republican Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie has dropped out of the presidential race, reports Fox Business.

Despite a strategy that heavily focused money and resources on New Hampshire, Christie ended up in a disappointing sixth place Tuesday. Christie announced shortly after Tuesday’s loss that he was retreating to New Jersey and would be reevaluating his campaign.

Another major hurdle to Christie’s prospects was that he was very unlikely to make Saturday’s CBS debate. Polling at seventh place nationwide and sixth in the next primary state of South Carolina, Christie faced an uphill battle with no clear path to victory.

As one of the “establishment” candidates, one of the big questions in the wake of Christie’s withdrawal is which remaining candidate will this help the most?

And, of course, who’s next to drop out? Certainly might expect some of those who did poorly in both Iowa and New Hampshire to follow Christie’s lead…
